Hi Tanja sorry didn't have time to answer, here is the link where I asked the question and got an answer. But no e-mail that I was answered. And now also no possibility to answer:

Hi Luna_L
Thanks for the link - I have just forwarded this to the technical department and asked what the problem is. I hope I'll get some information quickly.
Best regards

Hello Tanja,
in this matter I prefer - and am interested in direct answers - to ask instead of happily clicking on potential "friends".
1. when the option "Add UserXY to friends" is clicked - does UserXY then receive some kind of request (or other information) as is usual elsewhere (or used to be - I haven't been on FB for a while)?
2. are "friends" generally visible or does each user only see this in their own profile (and possibly also in that of their "friends")?
3. does the number of "friends" also have an influence on this 'popularity ranking'(https://community.migros.ch/m/Neues-Migipedia-da-ist-noch-der/Lob-und-Kritik/td-p/245407/page/4), which in my opinion should be reconsidered?
4. what were/are the thoughts behind this new 'friends function' on Migipedia?
Kind regards,
maripac

Dear Maripac
I apologize that you have not yet received an answer from us. Silvia and I tried it out a bit this afternoon. But we still had to clarify your questions with the technical team - we're not sure whether the function is working properly at the moment or whether we have misunderstood it ;-).
So you are quite right to ask your questions.
I'll get back to you as soon as I can answer them all.
Best regards

Dear Tanja,
Thank you for your kind message - and thank you, like Silvia, for addressing these questions.
I am very interested in the answers and a somewhat deeper insight into/behind this function.
Especially how this "friends" function came to be set up on Migipedia (4).
Best regards and many thanks already to you, Silvia and "the technology"

Hi maripac
So, now I can finally answer your questions. We've done our own research and spoken to the technical team.
1. no, the UserXY you want to add to your friends does not receive a request and does not have to confirm that you can add him to your friends.
2. no again. Friends are not visible to everyone but only to you.
3. and the third no: The number of friends has no influence on this ranking.
4. the term "friends" is not 100% accurate for what the function is and can do. The friends list is nothing more and nothing less than an address book or a collection of contacts. This is particularly helpful if you use the personal messages function regularly. Let's say I add you to my friends and then want to send you an e-mail, this is particularly quick because I can find your name in my friends list. You and I - and many others - have names that are relatively easy to remember. But as soon as someone has a number in their username or an underline somewhere, it's more difficult to remember. That's when the friends list - or the contact list you create - is particularly helpful.
I hope my explanations are understandable and easy to follow. Otherwise just ask me.
Best regards

Hello Tanja,
Thank you very much for your very clear and comprehensible answers to the questions about this "Friends" function.
I was particularly pleased about the "Migros Community Mailer" message, which pointed me directly to your post?
Best regards back,

Hi maripac
Great, I'm glad that my explanation was understandable.
Thank you for the info about the info mail. Good that it works now.

Hello Tanja,
I hope you and the entire Migipedia team are doing well.
Unfortunately, I "have" to bother you again with questions or concerns - :(, among other things because I can't figure out what this M-connect login is all about. With almost every attempted activity (currently mainly 'putting up thumbs'), the field appears asking whether an M-connect account (or similar) already exists. Only after entering the password is the activity mentioned or access to Migipedia possible. Is there any way around this slightly tedious (as it has to be repeated again and again) registration process?
A second concern relates to an answer option in the "Questions about the product" section. On the one hand, there is (my) need to thank the M-Infoline team for the information received (most recently, for example, here: https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/bio-feigen, on the other hand, there are certainly often follow-up questions to information received that could be asked using a reply function there.
Thirdly, I would like to earnestly request once again that the concerns that have already been raised several times, namely
- deletion and editing function possible at any time anywhere on Migipedia
- Admission of guests
https://community.migros.ch/m/Community/Neues-Migipedia-eine-Zwischenbilanz/ba-p/309367
at any time - and to implement it as a result. I am of the firm opinion that a return to these two features of the former Migipedia will not bring any disadvantages, but will make Migipedia more appealing/inviting again.
With many thanks and best regards

Dear Maripac
Everything is fine with us, thank you for asking :). I hope yours is too?
Hmm... the problem with the login sounds really annoying. Have you tried a different browser, e.g. Firefox or Chrome instead of Internet Explorer? It almost sounds to me as if your current browser doesn't accept cookies - i.e. it can't remember that you've already logged in and so you have to log in again and again. I hope a change of browser will help. Otherwise, please contact me again.
As far as I know, it should be possible to reply to comments on the products. But I'll ask the team again to be on the safe side.
As Sergio writes in his article, it will still be possible to edit/delete posts up to 24 hours after they have been created. An extension of this function is not planned at the moment: https://community.migros.ch/m/Community/Neues-Migipedia-eine-Zwischenbilanz/ba-p/309367
Allowing guest posts is also not planned again for the time being. If this changes, you will certainly be the first to know here.
Best regards
Tanja
