Hi Tanja,
In the old Migipedia you could view the user pyramid.
On my profile I can see that I am an "active rater".
I would like to know what level I'm at now, but I'm also interested in users I'm friends with, but I can't find anything that reminds me of the old pyramid.
reminds me of the old pyramid.
Where should I look?
Under "About Migipedia" you can't click on the orange box at the bottom right, I suspected something like that.

Hi Emperor
There is no longer a pyramid like there was in the old Migipedia. So it's not a mistake that you can't click on the orange box under "About Migipedia". Just let yourself be surprised in the near future by all the new levels.
By the way, I'm also going to be surprised - I only know the first few that I've already discovered here ;-).
Best regards

Hi Tanja,
I apologize for my questions (and unsuccessful activities!) - I'm swimming and probably writing everything in the wrong place-:(
Spoiler (Mark to read) Spoiler (Mark to read)- You kindly answered indios' question about an overview of "all activities" already, thank you. When I wanted to delete my comment with the same request, I saw - perhaps (or hopefully) incorrectly - that simply deleting a post is no longer possible. In the relevant place(https://community.migros.ch/m/Neues-Migipedia-da-ist-noch-der/Lob-und-Kritik/m-p/252577#U252577) it now simply says "last edited on [although a more precise specification seems to be missing]" and below that an empty field - to the left of it, to make matters worse, "bestselling author"-:(
- I also don't seem to be able to insert "emoticons". When I try, the text simply says "smiley frustrated" - which is very true, but in my opinion appears in the wrong code...
- Obviously bouncing from one fat ball to the next, I clicked on "Spoiler Tag" (see above), but should have asked beforehand what exactly that means/can do...
- I don't even go to the "Show discussion in popup" below to 'see what happens there', but I hope I can ask you that...
- I actually wanted to add some impressions under "Praise and criticism", but didn't find anything like "Post a new comment/post" anywhere, instead only the option "Reply"
with a kind greeting, THANK YOU (and unfortunately probably 'see you soon with more questions')

Hello Maripac
That's no problem at all - we're all learning together how the new Migipedia works, what works and what doesn't.
I'm currently testing the smiley myself - it should actually work, but I'm not sure. ? If my test here has now worked, you can click on the smiley symbol at the top where you write your message and select the smiley that best describes your mood. It takes a moment to load, so it may well be that you have accidentally selected the wrong smiley.
Spoiler: You got me there - I'll have to check myself. (you see: I'm learning with you).
"Show discussion in popup" simply means that the discussion opens in a new window. Nothing bad happens :-).
If you open the discussion on praise and criticism, I think you have to scroll to the top. There is an orange button called "Reply". If you click on it, you can describe your impressions - I'm looking forward to it!
And you know what: you might think you can't miss the orange button. But I actually said to Daniel about a week ago that I have to keep looking for this conspicuously colored orange button - sometimes we humans seem to be a bit difficult.
So you see, all beginnings are hard - even mine. But I'm getting used to it now (I've had a few more days than you). I'm sure you'll soon get used to the new Migipedia and learn to appreciate the advantages (and all the possibilities that are still to come thanks to your feedback).
I hope I've been able to help you and give you some encouragement to just keep trying. You can't really break anything - and if you do manage to do so, then we'll look again ;-).
Have fun (and few moments of frustration) :-)
Best regards

Hi Tanja,
I really do have another question!
How does it work with the tags?
What can I understand by them?
What is the personal signature all about, I'm really stuck there!

Hello Imperator
You can enter anything in the personal signature. The text is inserted in light gray under the comment. For me it is a quote from Coco Chanel.
I still have to try out the tag, let's try it here with #Istanbul to see if it works. Let's see what @Frederica does!

Hello Emperor
It's no problem - you can always ask if something is not quite clear and not self-explanatory. I try to help whenever possible. So that I don't explain anything incorrectly on the subject of "tags" that could cause even more confusion, allow me to ask: Where did you come across this? Do you have a specific example?
Generally speaking, tags are used to tag a message. This means that the most important terms (2-3) within a post are defined as tags (keywords). These help to make an article easier to find and make it clear what the article is about.
Istanbul has already explained well what the signature means and illustrated it with his example.
The signature also exists in emails: it usually contains the name, address and possibly contact details at the end. With the quote, Istanbul had a nice idea of how else the signature can be used.

Hello Istanbul and Tanja,
thanks for the quick reply and explanation!
I just saw that my tags are in my profile.
But I don't know how to set a tag!?
Would be great if you could explain it to me, because I'm really not that great
on the computer.

Hello Imperator
So, now I have some information about the tags: At the moment you can ignore the tags and don't even have to think about them ;-).
On the new Migipedia there is theoretically the possibility for every Migipedia user to tag their posts. However, we haven't activated this at the moment - there are already enough new things to get used to. If we change anything, we will be sure to let you know.
Best regards

Many thanks for the quick information!
Then everything is clear! I'm slowly getting to grips with it!
Have a nice evening Imperator
