I would prefer Neudorff products. These are also available in Migros:
http://www.doitgarden.ch/de/search/?fh_search=neudorff
http://www.neudorff.de/fileadmin/medien/neudorff.de/Pressetexte/Bienen_sch%C3%BCtzen_140710.pdf
"For hobby gardeners, Neudorff is inextricably linked with natural, bee-friendly plant protection products."
or buy garden products with an organic label:
http://www.doitgarden.ch/de/search/?fh_search=bio+garden
In my opinion, everything else does not belong in the product range.

Not planning to buy it. Just wondering what Noah thinks of it.

Hello
Chemical pesticides have no place in hobby gardening. You can do everything without chemicals, but not necessarily without literature. If gardening is a hobby, then you should take the time to learn how to control pests naturally. Either by mixing the plants so that they protect each other or with homemade sprays. For example, you can harvest nettles at the edge of the forest and use them to make a slurry or broth, which can be bottled or canned after sufficient fermentation. Depending on its strength, it can be used as a fertilizer or as a pesticide against pests. The same applies to a variety of other plants that you can cultivate yourself or find for free in nature.
You don't need slug pellets to protect vegetables or flowers either, there are much better and more tolerable means. The best thing would be a hedgehog, but they will avoid a chemical garden - hedgehogs are clever fellows, just like piglets. :-)

Yes, that is very strange. Why is this spray
http://www.doitgarden.ch/de/garten/pflanzenpflege/pflanzenschutzmittel/spray-gegen-schaedlinge--500-ml/pp.658408200000
still be sold in Migros?
According to Generation-M, the promise was already fulfilled at the end of 2014. Now we see that it was not fulfilled after all and Migros is still selling this spray: article number
658408200000, declaration: SPE8 Dangerous to bees,
still offers substances that are hazardous to bees.
Here is the link to Generation M:
http://generation-m.migros.ch/generation-m/de/nachhaltigkeit-bei-der-migros/unsere-versprechen/versprechen-filter/versprechen-konsum/bienen.html
Current status of the promiseA study by Greenpeace has identified substances that are critical for bees. Migros originally carried 10 products containing these substances. By the end of 2014, 9 products had been completely liquidated or converted. Remaining stocks of the remaining product are currently still in the stores. All products that have been delivered from the distribution centers to the stores since the end of 2014 no longer contain any bee-critical active ingredients.

I am also interested in Migros' answer. However, in the case of the sugar reductions in the yoghurts, they were unable to prove which yoghurts this was supposedly the case with.

Hello everyone
The Generation M promise refers to the active ingredients that have been classified by Greenpeace as hazardous to bees. The active ingredient mentioned below was not listed there, which is why we still carry this product in our range.
Kind regards

Hello @Tanja_Migros
However, I don't notice that only the substances banned by law are meant, but all substances that are dangerous for bees:
All products that have been newly delivered from the distribution centers to the stores since the end of 2014 no longer contain any active ingredients that are critical for bees.
This is what Greenpeace says:
The following six active ingredients approved in the EU have the highest number of very hazardous properties (seven and six properties respectively): lambda-cyhalothrin, fenamiphos, chlorpyrifos, cyfluthrin, ethoprophos and formetanate.Source: Greenpeace
Let's take a look at the list of pesticides (as of 03.03.2016):
Trade name: MIOPLANT spray against pests
Product categoryAuthorization holderFederal authorization number
InsecticideSyngentaAgro AGW-6741-2
Substance(s)ContentFormulation code
Active substance: Lambda-cyhalothrin0.0015 % 0.015 g/lME Microemulsion
Conditions and remarks:
Hazard labels:
Hazard symbols and designations:
Short labelingGHS09

For me, the case is clear: Migros wants the best possible image, regardless of what happens to the bees!

Hello @Tanja_Migros
The following reasons make me doubt the Generation M promise, according to the Beobachter article:
http://www.beobachter.ch/natur/flora-fauna/arten-tierschutz/artikel/migros_leeres-versprechen-in-sachen-bienenschutz/
Migros empty promise in terms of bee protection
As mentioned, the Mioplant spray against pests contains:
According to: http://www.pan-germany.org/download/Big3_DE.pdf
I also found a more recent list, October 2015, from Greenpeace, in which lambda-cyhalothrin, according to the TLI pesticide database, is classified with the highest rating of 10, toxicity to bees:
http://www.greenpeace.org/switzerland/Global/switzerland/publications/Greenpeace/2015/F4L/apple_testing_15_10.pdf#page=1&zoom=auto,-13,843
Assessment: Lambda-cyhalothrin
According to TLI pesticide database. Toxicity is rated on a 5-point scale, the highest rating is 10.
Toxicity to bees and other beneficial insects:
Toxicity to aquatic organisms:
Potential for bioaccumulation:
I very much hope that Migros will remove this product from its range:

Exactly. I can confirm that. I have a small cooperative garden where I have been growing vegetables and berries for years and I have 2 plum trees. I don't use any pesticides at all. Never. But a few neighbors of mine scatter these blue slug pellets en masse and buy such sprays, thus harming me and my garden and its inhabitants without being asked. Even when I ask them about it. Because they trust that if it were harmful, they wouldn't be able to buy it. It's clear that not everyone can and wants to be critical and deal with something like this in their free time.
It's so disappointing that you can't rely on the major distributors and manufacturers to finally take responsibility for no longer offering and producing harmful products for private use.
