I would like to ask whether there is any chance of reintroducing the tried and tested product. I think the quality of the alternative is a disaster. One roll has only 90 sheets, whereas the budget paper had more than 300. It couldn't be more ecological! The new product contains mainly air and the absorbent effect is worse despite the 3 layers. What can we as consumers do to ensure that the popular budget product is reintroduced?
I can only support mariahardegger.
What can you do?
I protested against the 'new' paper directly to the customer service department of a branch.
Today a member of staff called me, explained to me about the new producer and advised me to contact the info line.
Do both: protest and mail to the info line.

Hello mariahardegger, thank you for your comments. We can understand that a change to a tried-and-tested and valued product is not always well received. In the case of M-Budget household paper, it is indeed the case that the previous manufacturer has left the recycling business. As a result, the product is being sourced from a new supplier. However, the quality of the new household paper is better, as it is 3-ply and no longer just 2-ply. Kind regards, Angela

It's not better! You don't need 3-ply for household paper. Just own up to the mistake! Read the comments, you're alone with the justification imposed on us.

"Qualitatively better" has yet to be proven!
What I find really disturbing is that the "old product" has already disappeared from all Migros websites (including Migipedia). So no customer can compare the new or any competing products with the old product. ... and THAT smacks of "ripped off" to me!
It would be transparent to list the old product as "no longer available because..." Replacement product is...

Hello Chloe, I too am very annoyed that the tried and tested and very popular M-Budget household paper has once again been removed from the range. This is despite the fact that the past has clearly shown that this was very badly received by customers. They write: Due to various customer feedback..... Sorry, this statement is not credible for me and hardly corresponds to the facts! If I want a "fluffy", x-ply household paper with maybe 50 sheets per roll, there are countless alternatives!
Please take your customers and their needs SERIOUSLY and restock the shelves with the ORIGINAL M-Budget household paper!
Thank you and best regards
Rena
Hello,
Chloe is a programmed AI text generator that always reproduces the answers to the HH paper topic in the same form.

One more reason to say goodbye to Migros for good. This household paper has been with us for decades and no, we don't need three-ply paper. There are already plenty of rolls like this. What a shame! The good products are disappearing from the shelves and being replaced by more expensive, meaningless 0815 products.

Hello,
Chloe is a programmed AI text generator that always reproduces the answers to the HH paper topic in the same form.
They are still real people and not an AI behind them.
Have you ever thought about the fact that there is a "corporate wording" / "corporate language" in large corporations? This means that there is a standardized communication structure.
Chloe, Angela, Yann and co. would certainly sometimes like to answer differently, more honestly and more transparently because they are also purely salary earners, but a company has guidelines on how employees should communicate with the outside world.
What's more, you can't reinvent the wheel every time you ask 100 of the same questions and present 100 different answers with the same meaning.

Dear Migros, just be honest and admit that it was too economical, like the old M-Budget toilet paper. There is an endless choice of 3-ply rolls. I bought the new M-Budget household paper exactly once and never again. Maybe I'll find something suitable on Amazon.

Try the large (jumbo) roll from Aldi. The quality is very good.
