Oh man, I used to eat these Eimalzin malt cubes as a child! They were on every school trip! And that was in the 1980s! Before that they were always around! Tell has probably been eating them since ......! And suddenly they're gone! Because they are no longer being bought? But then why are they being replaced by OVO products, which are practically the same? Eimalzin is simply Migros' own brand! A few ingredients are probably not the same, but the product is ultimately practically the same! Both in taste, color, consistency, etc. If it were true, there would be no need for OVO products.

Thank you for your answer. What I resisted for a very long time and could never imagine - it no longer makes sense for me to shop in a Migros with fewer and fewer own brands. Ovaltine is available everywhere.

Hello Imperator, we have removed our Eimalzine milk chocolate and Eimalzine malt cubes from our range. We can assure you that we carefully review such a decision before implementing it. We are constantly monitoring market developments and identifying new trends. Since week 29, we have actually been carrying certain Ovaltine products in our range: Ovaltine Crunchy https://produkte.migros.ch/ovomaltine-crunchy (new for Eimalzine milk chocolate) Choc Ovo https://produkte.migros.ch/choc-ovo (new for Eimalzine malt cubes) We have only replaced certain Eimalzine products and have not discontinued all of them. That's how I see it too. Migros is somehow doing away with itself. It's a shame that more and more Migros products are disappearing.
