@Traberli: Is this egg white only available in larger Denner stores? I didn't find it when I checked a few Denner stores; the sales assistants didn't know about it either when I asked them... And where can you find it? With the eggs?

Hmhmhm was still quite a small branch, by the eggs. Ah branch has been converted into Denner Express. Maybe it's only the Express branches that have it? We have a tetrapack next to the eggs. I'll have a look on Monday (I have to go there anyway) to see what it's called.

@Traberli Thanks for the info. I still have a few Denner and Denner Express branches near here or on the way, I'll check them all out ;-) I won't give up that easily.

Ah then you were the one who would like to take the slightly larger packs? 😀↵I'm curious to see if it's on your shelves too.↵Ah Migros Aare by the way. Would probably start in Express 😉.

Denner has nothing to do with the regional Migros cooperatives and purchases and distributes its goods to the stores independently. Denner Express are independent entrepreneurs, comparable to MIGROS PARTNER (formerly GIRO). This means that, in addition to the existing Denner range, they can also offer (regional) goods that are not available in any other Denner (Express) store. So if this egg white does not bear the Denner logo, it may not be available in other stores. It would therefore be important to check not only the exact product name, but also the brand/manufacturer, or the product is so new that it has not yet arrived everywhere and is therefore only available in a few stores.

Slightly larger packs wouldn't be bad ;-) Yes, it's now also on our shelves, at least in the larger branch where I go shopping when I need something from Migros.

Egg white? That's the Austrian term for egg white. We are here in Switzerland.

Then please add the Italian, French and Rhaeto-Romanic names too, they're all Swiss!😉 It doesn't matter whether it's egg white or egg white😁

What does that have to do with the other national languages? "Eiklar" is simply not common in (German-speaking) Switzerland. The point is that we should cultivate our Helvetisms and not alienate them with unnecessary German or Austrian imports. Our language is threatened not only by Anglicisms but also by Germanisms. That's why it doesn't matter. "Tealights" were once called "Rechaud candles" here ......

Every second person here writes "lecker", for example. It's not a Swiss word either..... Leave the head teacher at home, this is about products and not about German lessons....
