Egg white in tetrapack

Eiklar im tetrapack

Hello, I would like to know if you would like to buy or see egg white in a tetrapack in migros. Question for a school project. Greetings Rian

Yes, of course, there used to be!

Hello @Rian_schenk

We received this proposal last fall and our specialist department looked into introducing it. The decision was negative. The product managers are keeping an eye on this issue and reviewing it from time to time. However, there are currently no plans to include it in the standard range.

You can find last year's thread on the topic here:https://community.migros.ch/m/Forum-Migipedia/Fl%C3%BCssiges-Eiklar/td-p/772803/highlight/true

Best regards

Tamara

Sorry, but why do you need something like that? Wouldn't there be any plant-based alternatives, if there were?

Best regards
Thomas

Hi @tnaegelin, we are currently not planning to include either "classic" egg white or a plant-based variant in our range. Best regards, Sina

I bought liquid egg white from free-range eggs in a tetra pack from Oh! at Migros today :-)

Wow! I hope it's everywhere!

Cool ? Then I'll keep an eye out for it next time. Thanks for the info!

I didn't find the Oh! egg white at https://produkte.migros.ch/sortiment/supermarkt...

It's also logical. First the goods come into the stores, and then later they go online.

And if it flies out of the range again after three hours, there's no point in putting a new product online...

Why do you need this? Another pointless product in the Migros range. A product where every buyer is potentially supporting the production of caged eggs! See https://www.zeit.de/2010/22/E-Tierhaltung-Huhn. What happens to the rest of the egg? Is it simply thrown away?
