Why can't egg cartons be returned to Migros? The use-by date would not necessarily have to be visible on the carton, as the eggs are already stamped accordingly. This could save a lot of unnecessary waste.

I don't just want to dispose of it, not even in a bio-waste container. The carton is only needed for transporting the eggs home, so it is neither dirty nor damaged in any other way.
