Why has Exquisito Noblesse disappeared from the shelves? Is it a supply problem or a permanent disappearance?
I’m now down to my last pack of Exquisito, and with every sip I can hardly believe this will soon be my last 😢 I’m so incredibly disappointed in Migros—those half-baked answers about wanting a “modern product” (in another thread) and claiming the glass jar is “more sustainable” packaging than before. In my opinion, they wanted to move production out of Switzerland (Haco Gümligen) and relocate it to Germany to increase profits. Period. I think I’d be less upset if they’d just own up to it.

Today, Migros is selling us the successor product for about CHF 5.00.
For such a low price, they must be cutting corners on quality—what a shame!
I’m still on the hunt for a good alternative. Right now, I’m trying out Bio Gold. I think it’s pretty decent. But at my store, it’s only available in a small jar.
You can argue about the packaging. But for me, it’s mainly about the contents. And those are definitely not the same anymore. The price alone should raise some eyebrows! After all, a refill pack regularly cost CHF 10.95 back in August 2025.

Good morning, I’m a fan of Exquisito too. I tried Migros Gold but didn’t like it. Has anyone found a decent substitute? I’m going to buy the Coop brand today.

I really miss this product... :-( I've switched to Mount Hagen now; it's a bit more expensive than Exquisito, but still just about acceptable. It tastes good, but of course it's never as delicious as Exquisito. You just have to order it online, though.

The new instant coffee just doesn’t taste right… whether it’s with or without caffeine, in a jar, or whatever…
I’ve switched to Hag decaf / Nescafé Gold now—oh well. At least they’re not bad.

I’ll probably never understand Migros’ logic or strategy… Was the point of the whole thing really to replace an extremely popular product with a inferior version, just to drive customers to the competition? They could at least have acknowledged the mistake or reversed it, but I suppose that’s just wishful thinking
