Dear Migros,
Why has Exquisito Noblesse disappeared from the shelves? Is it a supply problem or a permanent disappearance?

Thank you for your inquiry. Don't worry, we have good news for you. We are not taking the Exquisito instant coffee out of the range, but it is getting an upgrade. From next week, you will find it under the new umbrella brand "Migros" as Migros Instant Coffee Gold mild (article number: 107108100000). It will also come in sustainable glass packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello,
I was wondering the same thing, I'm desperately looking for this coffee everywhere...
I'm looking forward to seeing if the new formula will have the same taste given the price, which has dropped sharply despite the glass packaging.
I've already had a jar for this coffee for years. I wash and reuse it. How will the new glass packaging be more sustainable?
Apart from throwing the glass jar in the glass recycling bin each time?
Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.
Marie

Hello Marie, thank you for your question. The new "Migros Gold instant coffee" is now presented in glass packaging, a more environmentally-friendly choice. Glass can be recycled ad infinitum without losing its quality, which reduces plastic waste. What's more, glass packaging offers a longer-lasting, higher-quality alternative, as it is reusable and better protects the coffee's aroma. We hope you enjoy the new recipe as much as before! Best regards, Lea

No, unfortunately both new variants (strength 5 + 6) don't taste as good to me as the previous one. The jars are also harder to transport and take up more space. I don't want to buy the alternative from Nestlé... what a shame

Dear Migros
Could you please put the same coffee in the glass? It's no longer the same coffee. It really doesn't taste good at all.

You're right. We don't like the new coffee.
Too bad, the Exquisito was finally a good soluble.
I've never liked the Nescafé from Nestlé. If that's the only variety from Migros, then I'll probably have to look around for other suppliers.

How am I supposed to reuse the jar if there are no more refill bags?

Hello Cili24, thank you for your question. Glass offers a more sustainable and higher quality packaging alternative. It is reusable, recyclable and protects the aroma of the coffee better than the bag. However, we understand that the refill bags were important to you due to their practicality and ecological benefits. We have forwarded your feedback to our specialist department to check the possibility of a return of the bag variant. However, we are currently unable to promise a return and ask for your understanding. Kind regards, Angela

Can you back this up with sustainability? On the one hand, the glass version was already available in the past, so little has changed in the baseline. On the other hand, the jars have a plastic lid, which probably uses as much plastic as a refill bag. I can't see where you could gain anything from this - but I'm happy to learn.
If you decide to remove the bags from the range, that's your right. I think it's a shame when (unasked) reasons are given that don't seem to be valid without more information. This does more harm than good to the idea of sustainability.
And yes, I also liked the old recipe much better.
