Update 1: Further development of Migipedia forum

Update 1: Weiterentwicklung Migipedia-Forum

Edited

The new Migipedia forum was launched on October 1, 2019. Since then, we have received a lot of feedback here and on other channels. There have been requests for improvements, but minor errors have also been found. Thank you very much for your commitment. We have decided to make improvements step by step and inform you about them. Some of the work has been completed more quickly than others. Some work still requires conceptual work. But I promise you that the Migipedia forum will get better step by step. This is exactly how modern software development works. Testing with you and learning from you is important to usUpdate from October 11, 2019:

  • Likes that were forgotten during the migration have been credited to the profiles.
  • Likes for product reviews were sometimes not saved on the products. It was therefore possible to like a product multiple times.
  • All email notifications are now correctly translated.
  • In Chrome, Safari and Firefox, the input field for posts and replies can be enlarged, which makes it easier to write longer texts. (possibly reload the page if the input window is initially displayed very small)
  • Minor performance improvements and tidying up, which are not all visible but were important to us.
In the next priority we will tackle bigger issues. We want to create a better overview in the forum. This will make it easier to see which discussions you have been active in. We are also starting work on a solution so that when users click on a discussion in the forum, they end up where they were last. An update on this will follow. By the way: I may well write to some of you directly and perhaps invite you to join us to discuss our concepts and ideas with you. With this post, I'm slowly saying goodbye for the weekend. Best regards Philipp
