Why can't the senior citizens' card (Migros Aare) be integrated into the app so that no promotions are missed?

@AlMiDeCoLiNoone denies that, but there are also people in every other strata of our society who have to make do with less. So why should only senior citizens and families (Famigros) benefit? Federwolke has already anticipated this somewhat. Instead of offering discounts for certain groups, prices should be lower or fairer in general.
@stecki
But that also means: abolish student discounts.
Edit:
I was thinking in general with this answer; not just Migros. I'm not aware of any Migros cooperative offering student discounts.
My question has already been answered. Please open a new thread for further fundamental discussions. Thank you.
N.B. If you look at who buys what and how much on a senior day, you quickly realize that it's more of an additional 10% day. Grandfather or grandmother are more likely to be the cardholders (in the sense of share holders). If you don't know a senior citizen, you can go to a retirement home and offer a resident a little shopping trip ???????
Good morning
I will be happy to find out why the senior citizens' cards are regional. I'll be in touch again. I wish you all a great day! Kind regards, Nicole
Good morning
Unfortunately, I have not received a definitive answer as to why the senior cards are regional. Some benefits and promotions are national (benefits that are sent with the Cumulus mailing) and others are regional (such as the senior citizens' cards).
However, I have made the request for a national senior citizens' card accordingly.
If you have any questions about offers from individual cooperatives, I will be happy to look into them.
Have a nice summer's day. Kind regards, Nicole
Good morning everyone
@hrzimmerli
Integration is not yet possible for technical reasons. The issue has been submitted to a specialist department and solutions are being examined.

As the Migros cooperatives are managed independently and are responsible for their economic area, there are also different offers depending on the cooperative. Which cooperative do you shop at? I would be happy to ask them what offers they have for older people.
Have a great day! Best regards, Nicole
Hello, has anything happened in the meantime regarding the integration of the senior citizen card into the app?

Please also consider the rest of us, most of us with a Kulturlegi are really at or below the subsistence level.

Hello pfidor The senior citizens' advantage card is a regional offer from the cooperative. Integrating the senior citizens' card into the Migros app is therefore rather complex for technical reasons, as the offers for the senior citizens' card are launched by the cooperative itself. It would be necessary for various interfaces to work together so that use can be guaranteed without any problems. I will of course be happy to forward your feedback to the responsible departments. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any information about the subsequent measures. Thank you very much for your understanding and best regards Sofia
