Why is there no more mineral water in glass bottles?

Drinking water research has come to worrying conclusions about plasticizers in PET bottles and emphasizes that other toxic substances such as antimony (heavy metal), hormones and fluorides can also be found. For example, scientists at the Institute for Environmental and Geochemical Chemistry at Heidelberg University compared three brands of water from Germany that are available in both glass and PET bottles and found that the water in the PET bottles had up to 30 times higher antimony levels than the water in glass bottles. Antimony is a toxic heavy metal that is as poisonous as arsenic and is used in the production of PET bottles. This antimony, which can lead to severe poisoning of the blood, is passed on to the contents of the bottle.
Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Chahoud, a doctor at the Charité in Berlin, takes a similarly critical view and says: "I see dangers for risk groups." Pregnant women and small children are particularly affected. "I would advise them to give plastic bottles a wide berth." Previous studies have already shown that exposure to hormone-like substances can cause developmental disorders.

Very interesting attitude.
I'm more in favor of enlightenment.
Because "after me comes the flood" is not exactly the attitude that is desirable.
Not only have we detected plastic in our blood, the plasticizer used in recycling bottles is the problem. It releases substances into the water that make us infertile and can be detected in our bodies.
By the way, our planet has a plastic overload anyway. Just google the plastic waste island in the sea. Quite sad.
Or the marine animals that die miserably from some piece of plastic. But there are also many very good scientists who are tackling the problem. I will buy glass bottles again.
The idea of recycling PET was a good one, but the plasticizer has devastating consequences. I'd rather carry a few kg more

because we are being led around by the nose by migros and politicians (it is easy to make a lot of money with pet, regardless of whether it is harmful)
apart from that, the masses are unfortunately becoming more and more stupid...

or eptinger, that would be even healthier, no uranium no arsenic, no pesticides
If everything is drunk in the normal sense and for its intended purpose, then we won't be harmed by it.
I think there are worse things that should be criticized.

How much is normal sense and use?
Since it is water, you should be able to drink 100% of it daily without any harm.
If you have problems with your drinking water, you may have to switch to mineral... and it should then be 100% OK!
Water that I can only drink in bulk or is not suitable for babies should not be tolerated!
Migros (at least the larger stores, MM or MMM) has VOSS water in glass bottles... But in my opinion it's a bit expensive...

The PH value is usually better in glass bottles. I am therefore less interested in the easier transportation of plastic bottles.
