What's wrong with my favorite farmer? Sticks to the foil, falls apart and just doesn't taste good anymore! Have you changed the recipe? I'm disappointed!
It says on every package: The "old" farmers (bought in the summer) still have the manufacturer HACO AG Gümligen on them, the new ones (bought two weeks ago) are from MIDOR AG in Meilen.

We have decided to have the Farmer cereal bar produced by our own Migros industry, Midor to be precise. Due to growing customer demand for an alternative to palm oil, we have also decided to produce the Farmer bar with sunflower oil. Our aim is clear: Farmer should continue to taste at least as good as countless customers have loved it for many years. We are currently working flat out to make improvements so that the bar will soon taste at least as good as it used to. We are very grateful for your feedback. best regards Angela

Hello, we also bought the apple farmer and my children both threw away the bitten farmer. The apple farmer has a different consistency, it has hard seeds or something in it and it sticks. It no longer tastes good. Unfortunately. It was our favorite snack and now it tastes so disappointingly bad. What a shame.

I feel the same way. I've been buying the farmers for years and now they don't taste good at all since there's no more palm oil in them. wääck. I think it's great that people are looking for alternatives to palm oil, but the farmers taste completely different now, and inedible!

My guess is that it's not just the palm oil! Possibly also other deviations from the old recipe!

Well, people want to get away from palm oil, but they want it to taste the same.... Palm oil simply cannot be replaced so easily.

Exactly, instead of Haco, the farmers are now made by Midor. My son used to love the Blackberry & Apple variety, but now he doesn't eat Farmer at all because he doesn't like it any more. And we no longer buy or eat them either. The new Farmers are far too sweet, sticky and the taste is unrecognizable. What a shame!!!

(they're called "Country") They're available in the varieties Country Bar Apple-Strawberry, Soft Apricot, Crunchy Honey, Organic Raspberry Almond, Crunchy Nature, Choco Apple, Chocolat Milk, Choco Noir, Marroni etc. Maybe they would be an alternative until Migros has worked out the "problem" with their own farmer bars...

We already know a few of them, but certainly an alternative. Thanks for the tip! Even if blackberry/apple is probably difficult to replace...😕
