What's wrong with my favorite farmer? Sticks to the foil, falls apart and just doesn't taste good anymore! Have you changed the recipe? I'm disappointed!

Hello Farmerlover, thank you for your contribution. I'm sorry you didn't like the Farmer. Can you please tell me the item number, the best before date (BBD) and the lot number next to it? The latter usually starts with an L or there is a mixture of numbers and letters. I will then be happy to clarify this with our breakfast department. Best regards, Luisa

Hello Luisa The best-before date is 21.07.21 and the lot no. is L0001. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out! Best regards

Hello Farmerlover, thank you for the information. I have now shared your feedback with the specialist department. We have only replaced the palm oil. But we have already received some feedback on the taste. I am confident that the specialist department will look into this issue again. Kind regards, Sina

It's probably because of the new palm oil-free product. So in another thread about the farmers here https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/farmer-soft-choc-apfel?backtoboard=q%3D%26p%3D2%26sort%3Dlast_activity&reply=8bce5360-9926-4cbc-9200-2e296cf58e6d I hope they keep working on it and we learn to get away from palm oil.
Yes, I think so too. I have to say I haven't tried it yet, but I've had mixed feedback about it. Some think it's good, some don't. I'll definitely have to give it a try in the next few days to form my own opinion.
I have been buying this apple farmer for years and it is true that it no longer tastes good, it tastes as if Migros is trying to save money at the expense of good taste... It's a shame, I won't be buying the Farmer any more.

Hello, they have not only changed the palm oil, they have changed the entire recipe because Migros has a different manufacturer!!!
... ah!? Is that so? But here they only say it's because of palm oil. I also find it strange that the taste and consistency have suddenly become as bad as people say, just because palm oil has been replaced. So a completely different manufacturer with a different recipe?
Yes, exactly, a completely different manufacturer and a different recipe - and not just because of the palm oil
...but why wasn't that said? The explanation on the feedback never said it was another manufacturer... What does Migros mean?
Yes, I don't know why Migros has a different manufacturer - Migros will have to answer that itself

and how long have they had a different manufacturer? I told my mom it had a different flavor and she didn't believe me because they haven't publicly changed the manufacturer or the recipe....

It says on every package: The "old" farmers (bought in the summer) still have the manufacturer HACO AG Gümligen on them, the new ones (bought two weeks ago) are from MIDOR AG in Meilen.
