Hello @EEnergy, thank you for your message. We have deliberately integrated Cottage Cheese into the YOU brand because the YOU brand is aimed even more specifically at health-conscious people. Cottage Cheese therefore fits perfectly into this range. However, as the production process is different (more protein, less sugar), this has an impact on the price. Best regards, Richi
more protein? Where are the nutritional values? Why are they not visible here? Has additional protein been added? If so, that's complete nonsense, because cheese and cottage cheese already have a lot of protein!
For me, this is a rip-off product. M-Classic cottage cheese is also eaten by many athletes. However, they are forced to pay more money for a You product.
And then you wonder why Migros is growing very slowly economically? Compared to other competitors... Firstly, it often doesn't reflect the current zeitgeist and is far too conservative in some areas (protein wave) and then it launches products that nobody wants, but justifies this by saying that there is too little space in the range to launch some products that the vast majority want.
In addition, shopping tourism may be flattening out, but I am glad that German food retailers are much more innovative and price-active in this area than Swiss retailers.
Fortunately, I live not far from the German border. Even if I criticize the price... Innovation in Switzerland is another reason for many people to go shopping in Germany.
It would be very simple: take the sugar out of the M-Classic Cottage Cheese, as has been suggested again and again for years, and you're done! But luckily there's Lidl and Aldi!
Hello @indios, thank you for the request. Sorry for the late response. We are currently clarifying your question. You will receive a message as soon as possible. Best regards, Heidi
@indiosUnfortunatelynot a reliable one, as I only briefly looked at the three "YOU Cottage Cheese" in passing and hardly noticed any differences to the previous products in terms of energy and protein content (data per 100g):
Energy: 91 kcal, protein: 10 g.
M-Infoline will certainly publish the exact and complete nutritional information soon. And I will continue to hope that the former "Slimline" will return as "Léger Cottage Cheese".
