Generation-M is Migros or a campaign organized by Migros itself. Migros cannot boycott itself. You cannot organize a boycott on Migipedia, Migipedia was not created for this purpose. If you are a member of Facebook, would you have to get involved in the discussion there?
Study: Approved pesticides kill bumblebees en masse
Four times as many dead workers were found in the nest (lambda-cyhalothrin).

thanks for the latest info!
As mentioned in the SRF report:
"So Migros is tweaking its communication. It obviously doesn't want to take the products that are currently still harmful to bees off the shelves - and thus keep its promise in full."
... so dear Migros, the bees would be very happy if these products were to disappear from the shelves soon!
Dear Migros, you lose customers with promises that are not kept. I have always been a big Migros fan and have always admired its pioneering role in many areas...Migros has always been one step ahead. Please remove these products from your range immediately. Without bees, nothing will work in the long term .... should also be clear to you. Sustainability is not about profit

This link to the page with the promise to Noah is now redirected to the following page: http://generation-m.migros.ch/generation-m/de/nachhaltigkeit-bei-der-migros/umwelt/biodiversitaet/bienen.html
The following false statement:
"Do not use pesticides. Biological protection products (e.g. from Migros Bio Garden) protect plants without endangering bees."
was tacitly changed to:
"Do not use pesticides, or if pesticides are used, make sure they are used correctly."
BUT THE PROMISE TO NOAH IS STILL BROKEN AND MIGROS SHOULD NOT RETHINK ITS COMMUNICATION BUT REMOVE ALL INSECTICIDES THAT ENDANGER BEES FROM ITS PRODUCT RANGE IMMEDIATELY!
Hello everyone.
Emotions are running high over bee protection, and rightly so in my opinion. Migipedia is there to discuss topics related to Migros - including critical ones, of course. Unfortunately, we can't add anything new to this discussion at the moment. However, I would like to summarize Migros' position for you once again:
Migros explicitly bases its promise on bee protection on the Greenpeace study "Bye bye bee? " which was published in 2013. In this study, Greenpeace mentions 7 active ingredients with a bee-damaging effect (see Greenpeace study Tab. 1, page 8). Migros originally carried 10 products that contained these active ingredients. These products have been completely liquidated or converted.
All plant protection products sold by Migros naturally comply with Swiss law and have a valid authorization. The accusations made by user Migroleum in his post on Friday, August 5, 2016 about the lack of approvals and glyphosate are false. The valid approval number is always printed on the product label. Migros replaced glyphosate with a different active ingredient in its own brands back in 2014 and the changeover has also been completed for third-party brands since May 2015.
The Swiss Commission for Fair Trading (SLK) has complained that the wording of the promise could be misunderstood. The reference to the Greenpeace study "Bye bye bee?" from 2013 was not clear enough on our website.
On the recommendation of the SLK, Migros has temporarily removed the offending passages from its website and is now reviewing its communication on the bee promise.
We are listening to your feedback and taking it on board: We are reviewing the wording of our promise and the statements you objected to on the Generation M website. In addition, our experts will carefully examine new scientific findings and then decide which products will continue to be offered in Migros.
Best regards and here's to further objective and committed discussions,
Daniel

Pretty implausible @Daniel_Migros if even the Fairness Commission is of the opinion that the promise is not being kept. The picture of Noah only ever showed the well-known promise, without explicitly referring to the GP study. Since Migros apparently has no plans to remove the bee-damaging products from its range, you have no choice but to deny everything and claim the opposite. But it would be much more honest if Migros had acknowledged the reality and adjusted the status of the promise. Why not simply say that the target could not be met or that Migros no longer wants to meet it, instead of making such a fuss and selling people for fools! Shame on you MIgros, shame on you!!! I won't be shopping with you again!

When the promise was made, there was no mention of Greenpeace. Migros only referred to it later.
Migros experts are supposed to check scientific findings?
That can only fail.
Migroleum, if this case proves anything, it is that there is no connection between Migros and honesty. I think the two terms are mutually exclusive.
@Daniel_Migros It's just embarrassing what you say here! But you're obviously just a lackey of the mendacious management. What Migros is doing with regard to this issue is outrageous and unfortunately fits in with the direction it is heading in: Advertising more and more with green but lying to people and cheating them wherever possible and only keeping an eye on profit. I am massively disappointed in you.
PS: I liked to avoid your competitor with the 2 oo's because there are too many Nestlé products there. But as far as the ingredients in your own brands are concerned, you are increasingly losing out.
