Why are the radishes wrapped in foil? I don't think that's ecological, but you made a promise to produce less plastic waste, where is that?
I bought the radishes at Migros Dietikon and they are now packed in plastic? Why is that?
Hello guest Thank you for your inquiry. In order to significantly minimize the spoilage of radishes, we are repackaging them in plastic film. This also helps to generate less food waste. We are aware that the use of plastic is an important aspect in terms of sustainability. That is why we are constantly looking for solutions to optimize our packaging ecologically. We look forward to continuing to welcome you to Migros and wish you a pleasant day. your M-Infoline team

Why are the radishes suddenly packaged, even though Migros has promised to reduce plastic?
Hello379, thank you for your message about the radishes. Please let us know which region you buy from. The radishes are sourced regionally, so the cooperative will comment on the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

The packaged radishes that I can buy in Migros Ostschweiz unfortunately don't last long! After 2-3 days they are already soft and transparent on the inside! I only buy radishes that are still green! I don't know why, but they last longer even though I store them in exactly the same way.
Hello Jris80
It's a shame that the quality of the radishes was poor and you couldn't enjoy them - we apologize.
Unfortunately, the radishes wilt after just one day on the shelf or even faster. This means that the radishes do not look appealing and are sold poorly. As a result, the vegetables have to be thrown away even though they are still of perfect quality. For this reason, it was decided to sell the radishes without the cabbage. Tests have shown that the shelf life without cabbage is just as good as with cabbage. As an alternative, we recommend our organic radishes - these are always sold with cabbage.
Unfortunately, it can always happen that the quality of the radishes suffers due to bad weather or other growing difficulties. We are therefore grateful for information from our customers, as it is only thanks to such feedback that we can point out quality defects to our suppliers.
See you soon in your Migros
