The desired success has been achieved. Balcony is now an ant-free zone
How is it actually possible for a product to be traded under the label 'organic' that is, quote: "Toxic to aquatic organisms, with long-term effects"?
And how is it possible to "avoid release into the environment" when you are dealing with a free-living organism that interacts with its environment?
wait and see if it works on our balcony
Works perfectly, top product
Unfortunately very difficult to open
Fabulous, the best ant bait ever
This trap works great! We also used the ant bait from the Migros supermarket/household, which was unfortunately less convincing
Wow, why didn't we get these organic traps from the start? All those years we used the "non-organic" ant traps that Migros had on the normal shelf with the household chemicals. They never worked particularly well, but that was the only way we knew how to do it: keep setting up new traps on the ant trail and live with the beasts for weeks on end. It was the same again this year. The conventional traps have been in the apartment and on the balcony for 2 weeks. Without much improvement. The other day our youngest went shopping and asked for ant traps at the information desk, whereupon he was given this organic version from the flower stall. Wow, what a difference. The two traps were placed in two places in the apartment along the ant trail and the next day they were all in one corner and the plague was over. Thank you very much for that! We are happy to accept the difficulty of opening the traps and the risk of cutting ourselves on the sharp-edged metal. A tip for improvement would be a clip to open the trap, as with drinks or food cans.
With me, no ants take the bait or go into the box. They all walk past it. Now an update, they go in a day later after setting up, so it took some time.
