I set the humidifier overnight (level 3, 60%) and the next morning it runs on level 2 at 40%. There is still enough water in the tank. 40% seems to be the factory setting. Why does the humidifier switch itself off and then start up again, but at the factory setting (level 2, 40%)? I would like to have a constant 60%.

The problem has occurred several times and there has been no power failure. Sometimes the humidifier runs for approx. 24 hours without switching off, sometimes it returns to the factory setting (level 2, 40%) after just a few hours.

I have the above humidifier. My question: why does it occasionally make whistling and growling noises, sometimes you only hear the normal steam noise. What can or should I do?

Grüezi Mio Star Humidifier 400 Ultrasonic Mio Star humidifier this appliance has been working well for us since the end of November 2023 - only the display does not match the external hygrostat (2) :( The appliance runs without interruption at level 2 and set to 40 % - the store was also unable to help me. where is the built-in hygrostat and how can I check it? Hello UrsyundFredy Thank you for your question. The hygrostat of the model 400 is external to the appliance, built into the power cable. The advantage of the external hygrostat is that it measures the humidity. Most devices have the measurement directly in the device. The precipitation of the mist (air humidification generated by ultrasonic technology) usually hits the upper part of the appliance and then distorts the information on the display. IMPORTANT: With the 400 model, the mist can be discharged into the room in the direction you wish. Please do not select the direction towards the cable. This will result in a precipitation that will falsify the humidity measurement. In general, however, a deviation of 10 % is possible compared to mobile hygrostats that are placed in rooms.
