I love these madeleines, they've been great with coffee for years.
But the edges are burnt, which of course also affects the taste.
Normally a product like this should be discarded 🤔

Hello Magnoliapower, thank you very much for your message and the photo. How nice that you enjoyed the madeleines! We are all the more sorry that the usual moments of indulgence didn't materialize this time. You are right: the picture shows that the edges are too dark, which is unfortunately noticeable in the taste. We apologize for the inconvenience. The departments involved have been sensitized to proper handling. We hope you will give the specialties another chance to delight you with the tried and tested "hhhmm" moments! Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does this product contain alcohol of any kind (flavors according to ingredients)? Does it contain animal fats, for example from pigs? Does it come into contact with animal ingredients/fats or alcohol? (cross-contamination) Is it completely alcohol-free and vegetarian?
Hello Acalyanur, thank you for your question. No animal slaughter fats are used in this product, nor are any additives derived from animal fats. Animal ingredients (e.g. milk, eggs, butter, cheese, meat, gelatine) are always declared accordingly. The product is vegetarian and contains no alcoholic ingredients. However, alcohol is present in very small quantities as a flavor carrier. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thanks for the feedback. Is ethanol meant by the alcohol or is the alcohol produced during the fermentation of certain ingredients? Cross contamination is also not the case, correct?
Hello Acalyanur, thank you for your question. Yes, alcohol refers to ethanol, which is used as a carrier substance in the flavors. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Migipedia Team
Where can I buy the so-called Schmelzbrötli (Zug / Lucerne region).
And only the chocolate ones. By far the best!
The Migros Cooperative Lucerne does not have Marmor Schmelzbrötli in its range. There are no plans to include them, as demand is too low. Your M-Infoline team

I think the Madeleine is great!
Is the coffee-flavored Madeleine no longer available? or only in selected stores? if so, where?
Hello guest
I'm glad you like our Madeleines! Thank you for your question, we no longer have Madeleines Cappuccino in our range - unfortunately demand was too low.

I tried these madeleines and the traditional "Schmelzbrötli" in the aluminum form were fresh, delicious and not too greasy in contrast to this product.
In addition, the packaging is only advantageous if you eat all the madeleines at once. The former bag provided more freshness. Perhaps the melting rolls of yesteryear will be reintroduced?
Hello Renata
Thank you for your contribution.
Schmelzbrötli is basically the German name for madeleines. However, Migros still differentiates between different recipes and shapes of these products.
The Schmelzbrötli are round and baked in a paper form. The high-quality Madeleines pur Beurre have a boat shape and consist of a high proportion of butter and may therefore appear somewhat greasier than the Schmelzbrötli.
The Schmelzbrötli are no longer available throughout Switzerland, so it is possible that you will no longer find Schmelzbrötli in your M store.
We hope that our answer has provided you with sufficient information and wish you a pleasant afternoon.
See you soon in your Migros - we look forward to your visit! Your M-Infoline team
