Hello TestPR, thank you for your message. We regret that the new aluminum lid has caused you inconvenience. We made this change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of with household waste. As part of the changeover, we were aware that storing them at home could be impractical. So we worked on a solution and developed this silicone lid. It can be used flexibly and is suitable for the M-Classic half-fat quark. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Place a piece of aluminum foil over the lid, press it under the edge and then the curd is protected from foreign odors and will keep for a long time.

If Migros is already into such eco-sch****, then please at least make these lids available free of charge! Then at least the customers who are not so eco-hysterical won't have to deal with such annoying things (like no lid on the quark) in everyday life... PS: I certainly won't be spending money on a lid for my used quark!

In which region is this curd cheese available?

@suppenteller: in the Bern region, for example, this low-fat quark is also available in small M stores.

Thank you for your answer Maripac, but I meant the vanilla quark cream that Sunshine has posted here with a photo :-)

@ Maripac: This curd can be found in the region of Northwestern Switzerland (but I don't know where else?)

@suppenteller: the possibility that the quark cream could be meant was taken into consideration when I wrote my answer - it also applies to the vanilla quark cream. In Bern, both products are available in all the stores I know of

I hope that you will soon be able to find/enjoy the crème in your region too. It was featured in M magazine not so long ago and is a popular and special CoR product :)

Yes, I would also be delighted to have a cream like this in eastern Switzerland ;-)

This curd is only available in the Aare cooperative. There are currently no plans to introduce it at other cooperatives.
