The flakes are great!
We are interested to know where the maize used for these flakes in Switzerland comes from.
Hello blaserju, thank you for your question. The corn comes from Italy. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Since Edeka, like Rewe, but also Migros, has recently had problems with Kellogs, it would be time for Migros to slowly replace Kellogs with its own brands. Why aren't there more MB Kellog copies? Rewe and Edeka offer many Kellogs copies in their low-price segment.
Hello Coacoa200, thank you for your suggestion. We expand our range whenever possible in response to customer requests. In the cereals section, you will find private label products from M-Budget, Farmer and YOU. We are happy to take your input on board. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I would like to buy the cornflakes for breading. So my question is: do they taste sweet? There is sugar listed in the ingredients, but is it only a small amount and does not affect the sweet taste? Thank you very much for your answer, kind regards.
Hello midgard1982, thank you for your inquiry. We will be happy to help you: M-Budget Cornflakes contain 4% sugar. They are therefore slightly sweetened. Due to the low composition, nothing stands in the way of your project. We hope you enjoy preparing them. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Many thanks for the quick reply! I'll tackle the project then ☺️

Hello, these cornflakes are actually a favorite product. But the last two packs tasted burnt. Is this a new roast or an oversight? Kind regards
Hello Simielle, thank you very much for your message about the M-Budget Corn Flakes. We understand your disappointment. We would like to make further clarifications for you. We would therefore ask you to provide us with the following information: - The best-before date - The batch or lot number You will generally find the lot/batch number next to the best-before date, usually starting with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. With the help of this information, we can determine the time of production and find out whether errors occurred at that time. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Sorry, the incident was during the vacations and I didn't take the pack home and didn't remember to write down the numbers.
Hello Simielle, thank you very much for your feedback. Unfortunately, without this information we are unable to make any well-founded clarifications regarding the taste of the M-Budget Corn Flakes. We assume that the deviation was selective. We have not made any changes to the recipe. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Can you tell me whether vitamins are no longer added? Because in the past everything was always listed in the list of ingredients and nutritional values. If so, I would greatly appreciate it if vitamins are added again in the future. thank you very much
Good morning Raphae50 ~ a month ago M-Infoline replied to Thypon18 with a similar question in French:Until recently, a mixture of B vitamins was added to cornflakes. One portion (30 g) covered 25% of the daily requirement of these vitamins. As you have correctly noted, B vitamins are no longer added to M-Budget cornflakes. A broad enrichment with vitamins is no longer appropriate, on the contrary, a general enrichment of food (watering can principle) is no longer recommended. In our latitudes there is no shortage of B vitamins (with the exception of folic acid during pregnancy). The key toan optimal nutrient supply is a healthy and balanced diet according to the principles of the food pyramid; fortified foods are then not necessary. Best regardsFrederica
Hello Raphae50, thank you for your message. Due to new legal guidelines, we have removed the added vitamins and minerals from the product. However, the recipe is otherwise unchanged. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, It seems to me that the packaging has recently changed and that the VITAMINS are no longer indicated in the nutritional values. Did the ingredients change at the same time as the packaging? I'm talking about the 8 vitamins indicated on the old packaging: "Corn flakes with 8 vitamins" New packaging: "Corn flakes" Thanks for your clarification, Tryphon18
Hello Tryphon18 I have in front of me a new package and an old one. The nutritional values are the same, except for the sugar 4.0/4.2g, 1.2/1.3g. Best regardsFrederica
Hi Typhon18, Until recently, a mixture of B vitamins was added to cornflakes. One portion (30 g) covered 25% of the daily requirement of these vitamins. As you have rightly noticed, no B vitamins are now added to M-Budget cornflakes. Extensive vitamin enrichment is no longer a topical issue; on the contrary, widespread fortification of foodstuffs (the "watering-can principle") is now inadvisable. In our latitudes, there is no deficiency in B vitamins (with the exception of folic acid during pregnancy). The key to optimal nutrient intake is a healthy, balanced diet in line with the principles of the food pyramid, in which case fortified foods are not necessary. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team
