Too bad it has yeast in it. A real sourdough bread is only made with sourdough as a leavening agent and does not contain yeast.
The advantage is that it contains much less gluten and the sourdough fermentation process promotes the growth of lactic acid bacteria, which have positive effects on intestinal health.
Because of these factors, real sourdough bread is healthier than bread made with yeast. And that's exactly why I want to consume sourdough bread.
