Dear Migros, could you add zucchiolo (https://zucchiolo.com/) to your range? I discovered it this week at the competition and think this vegetable is simply brilliant. best regards

What exactly is so great about this vegetable? How and what is it used for? What is the closest comparison? Please help the clueless and less courageous ;-)

Information and recipes can all be found on the website, just click on the link (and change the language if necessary, at the bottom right of the website) ;-) Zucchiolo can be eaten fresh or cooked and can be used for many things (it is a type of vegetable). The closest comparison is with a zucchini. However, I like the taste/consistency of zucchiolo better (than that of zucchinis). Coop has had zucchiolo in its range since this week (but they are not available in every branch, it's best to check online at Coop to see where you can get them); they are small, similar in size to a tomato, weigh approx. 250g, it's best to buy one and try it out - if you like zucchinis, you'll love Zucchiolo; if you don't like zucchinis, you probably won't like Zucchiolo either. I hope I've been able to help a little with this.

Thank you, I'll have a look in the Megastore. Zucchini is very nice :)

Thank you very much. I'll replace zucchini with the new vegetable in one of my recipes and see what happens :)

1) Zucchiolo® is a new vegetable developed at "La Huerta de Europa" in Almería, Spain. It is not a zucchini variety. 2. it is a pure greenhouse vegetable for the European market. 3. even more artificial vegetables are unnecessary.

Everything may be true, but it still tastes great. https://www.freshplaza.de/article/9526263/zucchiolo-ein-neues-gewachshausgemuse-fur-den-europaischen-markt/
