Dear Migros, what happened to the vegan plait? I suddenly can't find it in the Migros Schweizerhof in Lucerne, and now I can't find it by searching here either. Is it no longer there? It was so delicious.

Hello Celinem, thank you very much for your message. How nice that you enjoyed the vegan plait! In view of your description, I understand why you don't want to miss out on the pleasure. Unfortunately, not all of our customers liked the variant as much as you did. Due to declining demand, we decided to discontinue the product. Naturally, I informed our specialist department of your wish to be able to buy your favorite from us again. We will continue to pursue the issue. You may be pleased to read that we are already looking for an alternative. Kind regards, Tabea
The plait was a dream and a reason for regular trips to Migros - and even non-vegan visitors and testers always enjoyed it! Somehow I doubt THIS time whether Migros really made the effort to keep the product in the range long enough and also to offer a certain reliability in terms of availability. We had the plait from time to time, then again not, or apparently only very few copies which were already sold out by the afternoon. If you can't rely on being able to find the majority of the product, then you don't develop a buying routine or you don't go to Migros just because of the plait - because it's often not available at all. And yes, of course, the vegan plait appealed to vegans and there aren't that many of them. All the more reason to express the cooperative idea with a product like this and not let numbers and profits decide production. Shouldn't this be possible with a net profit of half a billion francs in 2022? For comparison: if I search for cheese on M-Online, I get 425 products to choose from. Is there really enough demand for the last Chrache mountain cheese or would it not have to be removed from the range?
