Hello
Is the M classic beef sausage no longer in the range?
Hello Zoerbel, unfortunately the sausage is no longer part of our range. Demand has been steadily declining. For this reason, we have decided to effectively discontinue this product from our range. We are aware that with this decision we are disappointing customers who were happy to consume the product. We assure you that we are keeping an eye on this issue. After all, our aim is to offer products that are in demand from our customers. Kind regards, Mara

That's such a shame - I grew up with this product! And my daughter (3) loves them too. So if there is any way to order them somewhere else, I would be grateful for any tips!

Yes, I think it's a mega shame too. It was one of the reasons for shopping at Migros. Unfortunately, I haven't found an alternative.

Well 🤷 .... once again an item that you could still associate with Migros has been phased out .... but now it has simply been replaced by German Frankfurter sausages ... For me, as a Migros child growing up, this is a rather tragic development 🙁
Hello everyone
The beef sausage is new at Lidl. I tried it and it tastes almost identical. 🎉❤️

It's a shame that this sausage also contains nitrite curing salt, which is considered carcinogenic. Unfortunately, this product is out of the question for me. However, I would welcome cold cuts and sausages in general without pork and curing salts!

Have you ever tried the merguez? There is also a normal beef sausage in the aare without oriental. (if that's not too far)

Nitrite curing salt is not carcinogenic...
Nitrite curing salt forms nitrosamines when it is heated too much (over 150 degrees), which are TRULY carcinogenic.
In addition, the intake of large quantities of nitrite curing salt can reduce the oxygen transport capacity in the blood. However, this is particularly dangerous for babies (not for healthy adults). But it has nothing to do with being carcinogenic.
It is also suspected that excessive consumption of nitrite curing salt can have a negative effect on cardiovascular health and can damage the lungs of people with COPD. But it has nothing to do with being carcinogenic.
You see: nitrite curing salt IN ITSELF is NOT carcinogenic. Please pass on CORRECT information instead of throwing out untrue phrases. That would be soooo important when dealing with correct or incorrect information so that false knowledge does not spread.
