You will probably have to throw away the silicone multi-unit lids sooner than planned and buy new ones because they become unhygienic over time despite washing. I'd also like to see how many consumers actually buy these silicone reusable lids. Most, like me, are more likely to use disposable plastic wrap to seal that big cottage cheese package. And then we're back to the same thing as the PET lid. In theory your sustainability reasoning certainly makes sense, in practice I think it's rather rubbish and very impractical for the end consumer.

Yes, they have replaced the 500gr budget pot, but the 500gr budget used to cost CHF 2.55? The new one is CHF 4.20 (at least in the VOI). It's one thing that more and more budget products are being discontinued, but it's quite another when the seller tries to tell you that the new one costs the same. I am always so disappointed...

Budget cottage cheese is on my shopping list this week. It will be tedious to eat my way through 750g if it doesn't meet my quality standards.

I bought them and use them regularly. I wash them in the dishwasher and don't think they've become unhygienic, and I'm a terrible "ääätepetäääteli" when it comes to hygiene. I also find them more reliable than the transparent plastic lids that come with some products.
