Hello Smilyface, thank you for your inquiry. When we spoke to the responsible specialist department, it turned out that we are currently revising our product range. As part of this reorganization, we have decided to no longer offer cottage cheese. As an alternative, we recommend our Migros cottage cheese. Kind regards, Mara

Very bad. The M-Budget cottage cheese was particularly popular with people who need a lot of protein. The small Migros cottage cheeses are just too small for me. I'll probably have to go to Coop.

Hello everyone, just for information, I have changed to Coop because I am disappointed with the way things are going at Migros, unfortunately the offers are also being reduced by 50% according to the employees, empty shelves with butter and flour, now I buy my flour directly from the manufacturer if possible and go to the farmer or to the market, you can order a lot directly from mills. I also stock up on whatever is possible. You can make cottage cheese and cream cheese quickly and easily yourself,

But even the largest containers can no longer be closed but only with an aluminum lid. Why ? Is it cheaper for Migros? I can't accept the argument that they want to save plastic as long as organic meat is individually sealed in plastic. Aluminum is also questionable.

Hello jeep, we made a change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in household waste.
As part of the changeover, we were aware that storing them at home can be a hassle. We therefore worked on a solution and developed a silicone lid (https://www.migros.ch/en/product/704539700000). It can be used flexibly and is suitable for the article. Kind regards, Susi

Thank you, now my question is it sensible to make a lid out of silicone to save plastic, which you have to wash, produce separately and offer individually in a package? The old packaging could very well be disposed of in the plastic collection bags, and plastic that cannot be recycled is used as fuel in cement factories and thus fossil fuel is saved, not ideal but better than nothing.

Hello jeep, in terms of sustainability, both lid variants are comparable from an ecological point of view.
There are no plans to fit the dairy products that have already been modified with PET lids again. Nevertheless, we will take your input on board. Kind regards, Susi
