Which Swiss produces mushrooms for 0.95 rappen? Nobody!
I'd rather pay a little more if it doesn't come from China. Eat slightly fewer mushrooms in return

It doesn't have to be from Switzerland, the neighboring countries are also possible.

Qualcuno c'è, a 0.80 per 100gr
I haven't touched all that canned Chinese crap for over 10 years now. Not only because of the origin, there was simply too much dirt and waste in it, especially in the dried porcini mushrooms and morels (riddled with worms, dried insect larvae, snails and pine needles included). There are plenty of fresh mushrooms from Switzerland, porcini mushrooms and morels mostly from Italy or the Balkans. They can also cost a little more, as you don't eat them by the kilo every day. If Migros doesn't offer them, then the competition across the street certainly does. But Migros' range of fresh mushrooms is usually satisfactory (at least so far), and I can also recommend dried Selection porcini mushrooms.

Exactly that's what I'm saying, Migros prefers to make us swallow foods instead of making us eat foods

And finally, there's nothing better than going mushroom picking yourself (if you're interested). Yes, it's time-limited and it's a lot of work, but I would prefer a mushroom pan consisting of boletes, pearl mushrooms and chanterelles to any store-bought mushrooms 🙂
We recently found meadow mushrooms and the flavor trumped anything we've ever tasted in mushrooms.

No doubt, but if you don't see them or don't know them like me.
I'd rather buy them
Hi Jeanne77, thank you for your question. You are right, many of our canned and dried mushrooms come from China. Why? Unfortunately, there are not enough mushrooms in Switzerland to meet the demand of our customers, thus including yours, throughout the year. To always guarantee you the best quality, we import mushrooms from China. But don't worry, we meet the highest standards! Our mushrooms undergo rigorous testing to ensure hygiene and food safety. Our suppliers must meet these requirements, and we monitor them very carefully. Sincerely, Mara

But have you tried them? They look like the mythical Bazoka butts.
