Why are there no Frey Advent calendars this year? The ones with the chocolate figures? Or are they still coming?

I've seen them both. Not for the kids. They just want Milchschöggeli, not chocolates or different flavors. Especially not freylini with a coffee flavor.

Regarding the Advent calendar: this year there will finally be another one in paper form that you can buy at the checkout with all the % offers, such as M-Classic Teigwara 50% on a certain date, as in the past.

Hello rollimaus, there will be personal coupons this year. These are normal Cumulus advantage coupons that can either be distributed physically via an offer or coupon sheet or activated directly online via the Migros app. The word "personal" refers to the fact that the top promotions have been defined specifically for the respective Cumulus customer. In other words, "personal" for each individual so that everyone can benefit the most. Best regards, Chloe

And that's another way of losing customers. Thanks to the previous calendar, weekly shopping was also done at Migros, which is no longer possible with these "personalized" ones. I don't quite see it that way. Because personalized means that every customer receives coupons tailored to their shopping habits. I can well imagine that this will bring more people into the stores than the daily offers that are valid for all customers. I can't do anything with most of them, for example - regardless of whether it's at Migros, Coop, Aldi or Lidl.

Have you ever received personalized receipts? I receive a receipt for exactly the same product that I bought in the store just before, but I don't need another 3 packets of toilet paper. And I only buy certain items at Christmas time, so I certainly don't get a receipt for them.

It's not about the discount vouchers that you get from the checkout after shopping. If I understand Chloe's answer correctly, they are also Christmas-themed vouchers, but they are also tailored to the preferences of the respective customers. Be that as it may: whether it's like this or with a printed sheet labeled JOKERTAGE, there will certainly always be some vouchers that you have no use for. It's the same for me every year: I've always been able to throw away the majority of these "Jokers" unused anyway - regardless of which provider they came from.

It makes you wonder who the Advent calendar was originally "invented" for and how far Migros wants to move away from the actual needs of its customers. As far as I know, the Advent calendar was "invented" for children who couldn't wait until Christmas and who were in their parents' ears every day asking when Christmas would finally come. They could open a little door every day and knew exactly how long it was until Christmas. Children want little chocolate bars and not chocolates, gummy sweets (Trolli) etc. It's a shame that yet another office gum has decided on the product range without consulting the facts and sales figures.
