What's the story behind the fact that the lids on the drinks bottles are no longer loose but locked in place? The liquid collects in the lid and drips when pouring. Is it because too many lids were found in the ocean this time?

Thank you for the explanation. Nevertheless, I do not understand why apparently only Migros is forced by its suppliers to adopt this nonsensical EU regulation, which is not relevant for Switzerland. For all other Swiss manufacturers (e.g. Ramseier, Rivella, Eptinger, Valser) this does not seem to be a problem. They continue to use the much more practical and customer-friendly regular lids. Perhaps Migros should look for another supplier? Ramseier and Co. will certainly be happy to provide information on where they source their bottles :)
Migros has to use these lids because it sells its drinks not only in Switzerland but also abroad.
