Why is Aha's lactose-free cottage cheese no longer available?
The one from Züger doesn't taste good at all!!!!

Thank you for writing to us, Hüttenkäseking. A few days ago, aha! Cottage Cheese 200 g lactose-free was replaced by a new product. The new recipe contains no additives, thickeners, or preservatives. This makes it more natural, but also slightly different in taste and texture.
We are sorry that you do not like the taste of the new product. We greatly appreciate your feedback and take it seriously in order to further improve our products. Best regards, Mara

Dear Migros
The new recipe is disastrous—it's not suitable for people who are lactose intolerant. It gives me a really bloated stomach every time. Please review the new recipe.

Which product exactly did it get replaced with? I don't see any lactose-free cottage cheese anymore.
On Monday, I was able to buy two cottage cheeses from Aha, which are labeled "Improved Recipe." However, the product tastes disgusting and the consistency is unbearable. This is difficult for me because I have been eating this product every day for over a year and now have to adjust my routine. There are actually people for whom this is not so easy.

Hello KaroK, Unfortunately, we cannot explain where the complaints are coming from. The new product is also aha-certified as "lactose-free," which means that aha! Cottage Cheese contains less than 0.1 g of lactose per 100 g. Therefore, like its predecessor, it is ideal for people who are lactose intolerant. The only difference is that the product now has a more natural recipe and no thickening agents (guar gum and xanthan gum) or preservatives (potassium sorbate) are used, which is a very positive development. Best regards, Susi

Dear Infoline
I think you respond to comments, but customers who have a genuine concern are hardly taken seriously. Instead, you just explain things. What about complaints? Do you take them seriously at all? About a year ago, I wrote a complaint to Pitas, as did many other users in the reviews. But nothing has been done. May I politely ask how it can be that when you receive soooo much feedback in the product reviews, you don't implement it properly?

Hello Applepie007, The market for cottage cheese has grown unexpectedly strongly over the past year. In order to ensure product availability and continue to offer you a reliable range, we had to switch to a replacement supplier for aha! cottage cheese. We made this decision due to capacity constraints in our own production.
This means that the recipes have changed slightly. The aha! cottage cheese, item number 200604310000, has a more neutral and milky taste and contains softer grains. I'm sorry that you don't like the product. I appreciate your feedback. Best regards, Susi

Hello ArianaRose, thank you for your honest feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you feel your concern was not taken seriously. Your feedback—and that of all our customers—is very important to us, and I would like to assure you that we carefully review all feedback.
Regarding your complaint about the pitas: I regret that you did not receive satisfactory feedback. In fact, we collect all customer opinions, whether they are reviews, complaints, or direct feedback, and forward them to the relevant departments. They review the concerns and assess whether and how changes can be made to the product. However, changes are not always immediately visible, as they require extensive clarification and coordination with our suppliers. If you feel that nothing has changed despite receiving a lot of feedback, then I understand your frustration. It is our aim to take the needs of our customers seriously and to implement improvements wherever possible. Thank you for your feedback. Best regards, Susi

Dear Migros
Unfortunately, the new aha cottage cheese is truly a disaster. With the first two packages, I thought it had been stored incorrectly and had gone bad/sour as a result. Until I realized that it was due to the new recipe.
The consistency has nothing in common with the creamy consistency of the previous product; instead, it is somehow dry and mushy.
It's a shame for a product that I loved and bought several times a week, and for which there is no easy alternative.
I am also lactose intolerant and I always buy the regular cottage cheese in the large tub. I take a Lactase tablet with it and enjoy the cottage cheese without any symptoms afterwards. I have stopped buying the expensive Aha! products.
The tablets cost 11 cents each, but they are often on sale.
Maybe that would be something for you?
