Why have you taken the very, very popular spelt bread mix with chia out of your range? Just because the delivery didn't work out? The bread mix was so popular that it was almost always out of stock. Please put this bread mix back on the shelves!

Hoi indios, unfortunately the bread mix was not as popular across all stores in Switzerland as you think. We have therefore removed it from our range without replacement and are not planning to bring it back. Best regards, Sina

Wow, that's absolutely amazing, because that's not true at all! Now there's another wheat mix on the shelf. Let's finally have the spelt baking mix!

This statement is a standard Migros response. Even if our own staff agree with us

Why do you ask something if you don't accept the truth? We are Migros staff too - not just the staff in your store. In contrast to the store, we have a variety of data that we use to make decisions about the product range. This includes whether a product is well received - across all stores in Switzerland and not just in one. Greetings, Sina

Because the product was mostly out of stock and it's usually the case that the staff in the store don't understand it because they see how well the product is doing.

I think it's a shame that you draw your own conclusions or believe statements that are more in line with your own opinion instead of relying on our clarification results. Of course it's disappointing when changes happen that don't correspond to your own wishes - I've experienced that too. I'd like to give you two more examples. Just because a product was "mostly out of stock" doesn't necessarily mean that it was extremely popular. It is just as possible that we no longer deliver the same quantity to this store as we used to - for example, because we realized that we had to dispose of a lot of the product in the past - because demand has fallen. Of course, it is just as possible that a product does better in one store than in another. But that's no reason for us to leave the product in the range because of fewer stores - the sales figures in all our stores are relevant. Every business has to be profitable. Migros too. Kind regards, Sina

Wait a minute. I also miss this ready-made bread mix and I have always found that this flour was quickly sold out in our Migros. During the corona lockdown, this very flour was even sold out first. I can't imagine that this flour would ever have had to be disposed of in our store - it doesn't have such a short shelf life. I think it's a shame that Migros doesn't take the sales figures of the individual stores into consideration. I also prefer spelt - because almost all other bread always contains wheat. Kind regards Renata

Can't a new spelt flour product be put on the shelves? It also seems to me that spelt is becoming more and more popular and people want to move away from wheat. Of course, if there is only one spelt alternative among dozens of wheat flours, then it is possible that wheat will sell more. But the "spelt trend" has been around for some time and such products would certainly be popular in the range. It doesn't have to be the exact same spelt flour, but a spelt alternative to wheat would be desirable.

I believe that spelt is not a trend, but is better for your health. I can only speak/write from experience. Spelt is much better tolerated and healthier.
