Some time ago, zero or at least less waste options were a big topic here and a trial was started in some stores. What are the findings and results? Will there soon be filling stations (cleaning products and food) in all larger stores?

For hygiene reasons, I can't buy croissants and croissants from the self-service counter. There are some who pick the product from the back and bottom by hand, then there are some who can't even operate the tongs properly and the top ends up on the floor. Of course - the top then lands back in the container by hand... The same thing happens with nuts and dried fruit... and anyway, this container is placed far too low because of the children. But what the heck - not a solution for me anyway - I don't buy such products.

Today I saw yet another hygiene gremlin, and this time it was a Migros employee :-( She took photos of the rolls and confectionery for self-service with her cell phone, no, not from a distance, but she practically placed her cell phone on the stack of rolls/candy and touched various rolls/candy with it to take a photo. And then she "stirred" the pile of rolls and sweets with her bare hands to take a roll/candy (presumably the person she sent the photos to told her which roll/candy she would like). And then she calmly chatted to another Migros employee standing next to her as if nothing had happened or her colleague had done the same thing... Simply disgusting and disgusting! It's no wonder that many customers don't think much of hygiene when it comes to rolls/sweets in the self-service area when they see that Migros employees don't adhere to it either. Great example...
My first thought about filling stations for cleaning agents or PET bottles is that the waste is needed for incineration because it is used to generate electricity, just like district heating! Subsidiary Galaxus sends so much plastic, extra large packages, they sometimes send me 2 packages instead of one, a large one, and the contents of package 2 are 10% material and the rest plastic (these air mailer things).
I don't care, I have space in my bin bag. And environmentally I don't see any problems, it's like crude oil or natural gas in a different form, where the combustion filters are so good that there are no concerns. The Spice has to flow! It's a process flow/cycle! To filling stations for food, grains, drying stuff, whatever. If so, why not offer it online? The filling stations may need other suppliers or old ones with a different system. This would possibly increase the variety of the offer, which would also make online sales very interesting. Possibly different sizes of the bag to be filled, although too big doesn't make sense either.
