My cell phone contract doesn't expire until July, but I would like to inquire about switching. I heard from an IT apprentice that the cell phone subscriptions from M-Budget are reasonably priced and that you get the same good reception as with Swisscom.

I used to have the 35. subscription from Swisscom. (1GB, 1000 SMS, 30 min. calls; this subscription is no longer available) At M-Budget I would be interested in the 29.00 Maxi One subscription.

Does anyone have experience with this subscription or switching to M-Budget (from Swissom)? Would you recommend switching?

If you want a subscription that keeps dropping out and is cheap, then M-Budget is the right place for you.

I have now also had my first experience with this poor support from M Budget Mobile.
I have a subscription and had no mobile network in Italy.
Thought, ok, that can happen.
This week I was in Olten and again had no network. That's when I started thinking about switching to another provider.
M Budget then sent me a new SIM and blocked the old one "immediately"! I actually had a network again when I got back to Zurich, but if the SIM is deactivated straight away, then of course it's no longer possible.
The new SIM card then arrived quickly in my letterbox.
After inserting it, I received a message that I had recently been sent configuration settings that needed to be saved.
I received these and opened them, but didn't find what I needed to save straight away. So I clicked it away for the time being.
I could then no longer access these configuration settings and then wanted to contact the hotline.
I work at a service desk myself and I can say that a good hotline takes the call within two minutes at most.
I waited a very long time and hung up after a good five minutes or so and tried again twice later, to no avail!

If I don't hear anything on Monday morning, I'll change providers again, maybe go to Coop Mobile.
Even if this is now fixed and it should then reappear later that I suddenly have no network!!!
It can't be these days!

I switched from Swisscom Prepaid to Mini One in August 16. The announced changeover date was missed several times, so I had to call customer service several times right at the beginning. The SIM card then broke shortly after activation, so I had to wait for a new one, i.e. several days without a cell phone connection.

Then M-Budget tried to set up the direct debit procedure for a year. Again countless calls to the hotline, an average wait of 20 minutes, then contact with an employee who didn't speak German well and couldn't provide any real answers / help. I was advised to speak to my bank again several times (I did this 3 times) and was told each time that they would take care of it and it would work next month - which didn't happen. There was also hardly any response to written messages via the contact forum or email, or only 4 weeks later.

As the direct debit system did not work, I had to pay all the bills manually. However, the system had problems assigning them correctly, despite correct transfers with reference numbers, so that I was constantly sent reminders and threats that my cell phone would be disconnected and I would be operated. Again countless calls and emails, whereupon I received an email confirmation in May 17 that it was a system error at M-Budget and that they wanted to fix it. This has not yet happened and now, a week ago at the beginning of August, my cell phone was actually blocked for outgoing calls and data.
Calls to the hotline and emails have so far brought nothing - I've been without a connection again for over a week and don't know what to do.

It is beyond any imagination what has happened to me with this subscription, how much trouble, time and energy it has cost and I can only advise everyone else against it. I regret the day I switched.
