The deodorant stick has not been available for weeks. The saleswomen told me each time that they had been ordered but not delivered. What's wrong with that? I find it a good deodorant without aluminum salts.

Why are the products that I think are great always taken out of the range due to lack of demand? The Alvaros deodorant stick really was one of the best deodorants without aluminum salts!
And here we have exactly the answer I expected from Migros. For years, Migros has been hiding Alvaro products somewhere on the bottom shelves where nobody looks. And now they're hypocritically saying "it's just not selling well". No wonder!
I join the mourners. I have only used this deodorant for years and have always loved it. It has often happened to me that my favorite product has been removed from the range, so I would like to ask you again: Which product in the Migros range comes closest to the Alvaros deodorant stick? (No aluminum salts...)
Surely it's all about pushing branded products on us. Nowadays, the only thing that matters at Migros is what is more lucrative, not what customers want.

Hoi Traberli, thank you for your question. The Tabac Deo Stick does not contain aluminum salts, but the I am men Dry Form Deo Roll-on does. Kind regards, Luisa

I have been using this deodorant for almost 40 years, it is an excellent product, the best I have found after a long search, and absolutely kind to the skin. I have always had problems with many other deodorants. Where else can you buy this deodorant if Migros no longer sells it?
As it is a product of the Mibelle Group, I don't suspect anywhere and that production has been discontinued. But Migros can certainly provide more detailed information.
That really is a shame. As the other people above have already written, the deodorant was no longer with the other deodorants in the various Migros stores, but with the Alvaros shower products, making it difficult to find. I'm sure that's the reason why the sales figures went down. I would easily buy 20-30 at the same time now, if that were still possible. If others joined in, wouldn't that be a reasonable number for Migros?
It was the best deodorant I have ever used. Great value for money. Let's see what Aldi or Lidl offer. Tabac is too expensive. No wonder more and more customers are leaving.
Hello everyone, thank you for your contributions. The fact that the shelf is still marked accordingly is of course annoying. The best thing to do is to contact the store staff directly. If you let me know which store it is, I will be happy to pass this on to the relevant specialist department. Kind regards, Luisa
Throughout the Zürcher Unterland, the shelves are still marked with interruptions.
Hello wedge76, we have completely removed the Alvaros deodorant stick from our range. Unfortunately, demand was too low. There are also no remaining stocks available. I'm very sorry that I can't give you better news, but such product range discontinuations are disappointing for us too. We can assure you that Migros is examining these decisions carefully. I hope you find a suitable alternative for you in our range. Kind regards, Heidi
Unfortunately, I've only just come across the information in here through a Google search. I think it's an extreme shame that a high-quality, well-tolerated product has been removed from the range without warning. Not a masterstroke in terms of communication either... the deodorant has supposedly been around since 1985... a real shame. In any case, I don't really like the smell of Tabac, especially under these circumstances. Too bad, too bad, too bad.

Hi MikeGLow, we're sorry to disappoint you. We rarely communicate such article discontinuations for the following reasons: We suspect that our customers would not be sufficiently aware of announcements about article discontinuations, as they are exposed to an excessive amount of advertising messages these days. In addition, comprehensive communication about items that we are removing from the range would involve disproportionately high costs. Migros will continue to adapt the range on an ongoing basis and add new innovative or improved products. This means that we will have to remove items with less demand from our range. I hope you understand, best regards Heidi

I stumbled across this thread by chance while googling, as I have been missing the Dry Formula deodorant stick from I am men for some time and could no longer find it in various Migros Basel Region stores. In its usual place there is now another product (a roll-on) that is absolutely out of the question for me. Have you also just quietly removed it from the range? If so, I'm beginning to wonder what kind of customer-unfriendly policy Migros has been pursuing recently... Thank you for any information and best regards
