Last Saturday I saw Voss mineral water from Norway in Migros.
Is it Generation M and the sustainability of Migros that the water sold comes from Norway?
It is very questionable that such products are included in the range - very nonsensical transportation.

The fact that there are people who "need" such a status symbol foodstuff is just like the water from the South Sea island that is about to sink into the sea. Tragic, I know, I feel very sorry for the people there. But if Migros is committed to sustainability, I ask myself, is that sustainable? Probably rather hypocritically sustainable! I would like to know how many Migros consumers asked for this water so that it had to be included in the range? Oh Dutti, what have all those overpaid managers done with your thoughts? Just because the other major distributor, also with the orange lettering and starting with C, has Voss on its shelves, Migros can't be at the back of the queue. Tell me, how do I explain this to my kids, who belong to Generation M? Do you know Eptinger mineral water in a glass bottle? According to Ktipp, it's the best and most mineral-rich mineral water in Switzerland. And as a consumer, I would like you to include this mineral water in your range. It doesn't contain uranium like your Aproz water from Valais. What are we talking about? Sustainability? M-generation? With respect, I can't even take you seriously.

I think the GOBA water from Gontenbad is very tasty, it would also be available in a 1 liter glass bottle... I would also welcome this water here, more to the west before the Röstigraben (Migros Aare)!!! Fortunately, Flauder has already become very widespread in Switzerland... why not natural still water too? I also like the Iiisfee variety very much... so dear Migros... I ask for more Swiss water! preferably also in glass bottles... (with a deposit as in the past, if you like)

As far as Flauder is concerned: as far as I know, the Migros Cooperative Eastern Switzerland also sells other Goba products in addition to Flauder. As far as I know, only Flauder Original (Holnderblüte) is available in the rest of Switzerland - and this does not come from Goba itself, but is bottled for Migros under license by Aproz Minerales SA (at least that's the case with the 5 dl bottles). Hi Nachtspalter Yes, it's true that there are more varieties of GOBA in eastern Switzerland, but unfortunately there aren't many more varieties (1 or 2) to choose from. I also don't go to eastern Switzerland every month, but when I'm there on weekdays I sometimes go to the Migros :-)

This also includes products that come from abroad. A sustainability performance is not based on individual products, but on overall efforts that are made with regard to sustainability. Ecological principles should be adhered to. The sustainability performance is shown transparently on www.generation-m.ch. When importing water, transportation has only a minor impact on the environmental footprint, especially as Migros relies on rail transport wherever possible. In 2018, 70 % of all beverage deliveries were made by rail. This figure is actually on the rise. We also strive to close cycles by using as much recycled PET as possible. Mineral water: - More than half of our mineral water comes from local sources, so that customers can make their own purchasing decisions. - There is no water shortage in Switzerland or Norway and groundwater supplies are always sufficiently replenished due to rainfall. I assume that you will take the Voss product out of your range immediately after yesterday's cash register crash. An unparalleled climate polluter, and also 'fraudulently' declared, as it does not contain artesian water (- banned in Norway). I will generally avoid Migros if they continue to sell this product!

The brand could also be changed specifically for Migros if necessary.

@Bodenseeknusperli. Yes, funny name. I absolutely agree with you 100%. Sustainability is just an empty phrase for "our" MIGROS, which imports and sells groundwater from Norway to us in Switzerland, nota bene a water castle in the middle of Europe (at least for now). The scam with this ordinary groundwater was uncovered about 10 years ago by the Norwegian TV channel TV2, see Internet. MIGROS für d'Lüüt, R.I.P. Mr. Gottfried Duttweiler, you would be surprised what has been made of your once wonderful idea. I am almost convinced that you would send the entire management team into the desert, but without water. As a child of MIGROS, you want to tell me something about Generation M and other such nonsense. Apart from the carpet floor, marketing and Migipedia managers, neither the sales staff with daily customer contact nor "our" employees working in logistics believe it. In various "our" MIGROS stores, I spent over a week asking various members of staff whether they also buy VOSS groundwater. Some were not familiar with this water, a few bought it because of the pretty glass bottle (I did too at the time!), the vast majority told me that this water was simply too expensive for them and that they couldn't afford it for families on their salary. Neither could the cleaning staff, of course, and I was able to ask someone there who spoke my language. I have already mentioned elsewhere who can certainly afford this groundwater imported over a long distance. I'll add other people, all the directors, in short, who have little to no customer contact with "us" MIGROS owners, the carpet floor of course. So, I've probably now signed for my expulsion from the forum with another one of my "borderline" posts (original quote from Migipedia), no problem.
