Is it Generation M and the sustainability of Migros that the water sold comes from Norway?
It is very questionable that such products are included in the range - very nonsensical transportation.

Is that a reason to simply ignore the question of sustainability?
You are responsible, you help determine what becomes a trend.
Dear matthias_s, thank you very much for your input. Sustainability is also important to us, which is why we offer water from Switzerland under the Aproz and Aquella brands. However, there are also customers who really appreciate Voss water and we want to satisfy this customer need too. However, we would like to add that Voss water is part of a pilot project and we are monitoring its development closely during the pilot phase. Best regards, Jan
And I would like to add that the Migros subsidiary Globus has been offering Voss water in the Delicatessa for a long time.

i also think such things are a disaster, we really have enough water and in excellent quality. and i see it exactly the same way, i can't really buy the whole sustainability promise from migros, although individual projects are really good, but it's not a consistent attitude, but the attitude "demand determines supply" is much more prevalent. too bad dear migros.
in any case, you can of course counteract this by not buying this, by buying as little water as possible. and local beer, and local products in general. and preferably from the farmer around the corner. but you already know that anyway.

Voss water tastes excellent - but is unfortunately very expensive. What I find more worrying is that Migros has apparently removed Perrier - a globally respected brand - from its range, at least in the ZH-Affoltern branch.

Unfortunately, this is one of many examples of Migros being more of a sham than a reality when it comes to ecology and sustainability. Individual projects are apparently only financed so that this commitment can then be used for marketing purposes. Once again, however, this case effectively shows that ecology and sustainability rank far below sales at Migros, and for this absolutely questionable behavior in this specific case, you get excuses like this one.
