Hello!
Why do I have to read the ingredients in Migros! It's so tedious, I'd love it if vegan food was labeled. That's why I prefer to do my shopping at the Coop!

Hey,
regional products? Definitely!
And the addition of palm oil is a bad thing! Better not!
I largely agree with you.
With regards Pazzi
That all sounds very good, but bread without eggs is not real bread, or am I wrong (correct me, I'm not a baker. We all know what manure is made of, it used to be an animal product.
Do I really have to eat my Gschwellti on Monday without cheese and without mayo?
I think potatoes are vegan, contain hydrocyanic acid and are carcinogenic.
Packets of salad are carcinogenic. And many other vegan products too. Then I'm more interested in regional, organic, glucose, lactose, gluten and vegetarian labels. But vegan is really hearty.
I think my liana is breaking. (My pig whistling would be inappropriate)
Now please enlighten me, bread without eggs?
Do breeders also have extra dairy cows or does that not count?
I am really thirsty for knowledge and am waiting for feedback.
I think the thread author was concerned with the label and not whether the diet is healthy or unhealthy.
In my opinion, categorizing individual foods as healthy or unhealthy is nonsense. It all depends on the context and every food has its own spectrum of effects. The same applies to diet, by the way.
What's more, there is no such thing as THE cancer. Every cancer cell behaves differently depending on the environment.
If you are thirsty for knowledge, perhaps this is where you should start before you take knowledge indiscriminately and make such assertions. That's exactly what many vegans do.
Hey!
There's a discussion going on! Of course I was talking about the label, but the topic is important to me in general.
So for baking bread.... you can do it perfectly well without eggs. Sometimes bought bread contains milk powder, I don't know exactly why.
If you bake it yourself, it's great with flour, water, yeast and salt. Braided bread is an exception because of the yellow color on the braid, which is created with egg yolk. And it usually has butter in it.
And on the subject of health:
A varied vegan diet offers some nutritional benefits. It generally has a lower calorie density and is therefore a very effective way to lose weight in the short and long term if you are overweight. The fatty acid distribution is favorable, in particular it contains less saturated fatty acids. It also contains no cholesterol.
A balanced vegan diet contains more fiber, potassium, folic acid, vitamin C and antioxidants, and studies have shown a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes compared to an average mixed diet and, if already diagnosed, significantly better blood sugar levels.
In addition, vegans are much less likely to be overweight, have lower cholesterol levels, slightly lower blood pressure and very probably a lower risk of bowel and prostate cancer.
Voilà! It's actually quite simple....
Best regards! Pazzi
Ok then I'll come back to the label Dr.Freud @PPARdelta, has now taught me. In this case, a clear label on the front and also on the cheese counter. On mayo absolutely, because I always have enough at home on milk and yogurt drinks. Butter, Créme Fresh, Weinachts Guätzli dough (teach your children this) eat vegan.
P.S. As for the cancer report, I know about it, my grandmother has survived 2, my aunt, my uncle and my brother too, he was in hospital on the 40th because of it.
I should have gone straight to my cousin to find out more, she's a nutritionist.
Yoghurt drinks are made vegan (other thread available). I don't want to meet vegan yogurt from M-Classic or cheese let alone mayo.
Now to you @Pazzi
Thank you for the informative answer. That's actually what I wanted to know about the bread. I went a little too far again. So I apologize to you.
Once again a yes YES in the urn, but please make it visible.
Sorry to everyone that I always go so far afield and always deviate a little from the topic.
Green liberal greetings @Mystery1978
