Vegan Blévitas

Vegane Blévitas

Good day

I have been vegan for some time now and used to eat your delicious Blévitas every day. At the beginning I assumed that Blévita was vegan. Unfortunately, after reading the list of ingredients more closely, I discovered that my favorite varieties (red spelt Blévita and green linseed Blévita) contain skimmed milk powder and are therefore not vegan. I know that there are vegan Blévitas, but I wonder whether it would be possible to omit the skimmed milk powder from all products? I can't imagine that this would make a big difference and I would therefore be very happy about this adaptation! Are there any possibilities?

Kind regards

Hey, the skimmed milk powder is put in because we have a huge milk lobby in Switzerland. That doesn't change the taste.

Not true at all. 99% don't mind skimmed milk powder. Because of this 1%, skimmed milk powder will hardly be removed everywhere.

How do you come up with such a figure, apart from making it up? Sources?

The number is of course just a saying. If skimmed milk powder had been a major point of criticism at Blevita (M Infoline) in recent years, Migros would probably never have made the range so wide... that was the point of my statement... of course it bothers some people, but in general I think it bothers very few people.

There has been a lot of negative criticism about the skimmed milk powder. Leaving it out is the best option, because it is unnecessary.

Sugar, salt and milk powder are flavor carriers that make a product really tasty. I am not against a reduction. Ultimately, you vegans just have to eat grass from the garden.

Of course that doesn't bother you. I didn't expect any other answer from you. It's not about vegan, but that skimmed milk powder is simply unnecessary and changes the taste unnecessarily. But it's difficult for people who love ready-made products. Because they no longer know what food really tastes like.

I just want to say that the range for vegans is now huge and growing, so there's something for everyone, but there are also non-vegans.

In my opinion, it doesn't change the flavor for the worse, tastes are different, just buy it without milk powder, they are available!

I'm not vegan, but as a Coop employee you can buy Davia.
