Why is the Urdinkel Farmerbrot no longer listed here? Because I complained too much, was it simply removed? It also tastes different than before, has the recipe been changed?

I also miss the original spelt farmer's bread in Migros Aare. According to the store, it is no longer listed. Absolutely incomprehensible. If you didn't buy it in time, it was always sold out by the afternoon. So it can't have been due to demand....... Please list it again, dear Migros Aare. It's the only bread that really tastes good and doesn't get dry and hard after 3 days!
Not sure if we mean the same bread: The original spelt Farmer was the sour lump of grain, far from my idea of bread and always available en masse, while my favorite - the normal original spelt bread, which tastes really good, has the consistency of a loaf and stays fresh for 3 days - was usually sold out before noon and I had argued with the people in charge at the store for years about it. Anyway, I'm glad the farmer shopkeeper is gone, now at least they can no longer order the wrong bread in bulk and since then there's always enough of the good stuff.

So the original spelt farmer's bread I'm talking about wasn't sour bread, but had a delicious taste and above all stayed fresh for a very long time, more than 3 days! Which is why it was regularly sold out at lunchtime in my store (Hinterkappelen). It's difficult to tell from the photos. I think it's this one: https://www.foodrepo.org/de/products/13852 or https://migipedia.migros.ch/en/111484300000?utm_source=www.migros.ch&utm_medium=owned&utm_content=mo-produktlink According to migros.ch, availability is not known: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/111484300000?context=online

Hello gerdzim, thank you for your patience. We asked Aare and received the following answer: We have many customer groups with different needs. Our aim is always to offer as wide a range of products as possible so that every customer can find their preferred products. Nevertheless, there has to be a certain demand for an item for it to be included in the range at all. We are aware that this decision is disappointing for customers who liked to buy the discontinued items often. We assure you that we will examine such decisions carefully. It is part of Migros' job to monitor market developments and react accordingly, so there are currently no plans to reintroduce them. However, your request has been placed with the cooperative. Kind regards, Mia

Given the comments and reviews here, as well as the feedback from my store (many people also ask about the bread), I find this hard to imagine. My theory is that bread that tastes good and lasts a long time is certainly bought more often, but not as often as bread that tastes good and is dry after a few days and the rest is thrown away. The latter bread then appears more frequently in the management statistics because people are forced to buy more of it. The fact that this can then also have the effect of people buying their bread elsewhere and the sales volume slowly shifting to other retailers is only slowly becoming noticeable. Presumably only when the manager who decided to delist is promoted.......

I am generally disappointed with what Migros is doing "with disposing of products", I also miss the good breads that were still available 2 to 3 years ago, the current bread assortment is "today" only about half as large, too bad 😢
Conclusion: Instead of getting better, it's not just the bread range that's getting worse, but the entire range. When will the Urfarmer spelt bread with item no. 1114.556 (Südostschweiz) finally be listed on your website with nutritional values etc.?

Hello rollimaus, thank you for your comment. We are currently still looking for the reason why the bread is not online. However, the aim is to get it back online as soon as possible. Best regards, Sina
