I've seen toilet paper from friends in Germany that doesn't need a roll of cardboard. I think that makes a lot of sense because, firstly, there is no waste and, secondly, there is more paper on the individual roll. Wouldn't that be something for us...?

How do your friends in Germany fare with the roll when it comes to an end? The last quarter will probably fall to the ground at some point and nobody will have any more of it.
They are also available in France, e.g. at Carrefour: 
I like the idea. However, I find the paper quality of the Lotus toilet paper poor, too thin and tears too quickly.
And the video even has an Internet address that ends with "wc" ?
All the last letters of the address ...Zesfwc could be interpreted as
Zewasmartfor wc

Hello everyone, we had a toilet paper like this about two years ago. Unfortunately, the product was not very popular, which is why we have removed it from our range. There are no plans to offer the item again in the near future. However, those responsible will consider this input when the range is next revised.
