I received an SMS from the short number 2871 today. It contained information about a list of winners including "my personal winning code" and a link to it. The link ends in .com - that's why and because of the short number I didn't click on the link. The "winning code" is made up of M|GROS and a combination of numbers. Hence the warning here ;)

It is important for me to mention the following: The telephone numbers do not originate from Migros. Migros takes computer security and data protection very seriously and invests a lot to ensure protection against misuse. In the case of such phishing attempts, the telephone numbers are normally generated automatically. Kind regards, Marc

( my first name ) This is a notification regarding your package: MIG368R1 from our 20/12/2021 raffle. ........com ( an internet address with .com ). It's just weird that they capitalized my name with the wrong spelling. It's also weird that they even have my first name. I've done online competitions, I'll never do it again because I think that's how you get personal data. Watch out and big institutions like Migros usually send out notifications by post if you win
