I received an SMS from the short number 2871 today. It contained information about a list of winners including "my personal winning code" and a link to it. The link ends in .com - that's why and because of the short number I didn't click on the link. The "winning code" is made up of M|GROS and a combination of numbers. Hence the warning here ;)

Your personal number: MIG759-ROS-879. 3rd place: 3rd article: 9.6s0I.com/okN86 so it's still going around. And I wonder how they got my cell phone no. Maybe a customer list was hacked?

Type in a number at random and you'll get someone on the phone who is sure to shop at Migros - so this random principle is very "prey" to these scam attempts. I think it's important to familiarize inexperienced people in particular with the topic, young people in particular are said to have difficulty differentiating (according to a new study), so it's great that you're drawing attention to the fact that a new wave is back.

Especially what should be considered alarm signal no.1; the mentioned homepage ltd. MIGR.CH and should evoke associations with Migros. Do not click on anything. Probably ransomware to get e-banking etc. from your cell phone... It's best to delete the SMS, and if you do, only send it as a screenshot/screen shot to warn others.... Apparently migros.ch or migipedia was hacked, as only Cumulus holders in my circle of friends received an SMS....
