What Kassensturz is reporting about Migros and TMI is sad as hell.
Dutti would be turning in his grave. As a Migros co-owner, I cannot accept such a thing.
I expect TMI to be liquidated and the promoters to be re-employed by Migros and over-compensated for their losses!

Gottlieb Duttweiler has been spinning in his grave ever since this rip-off club has been active in the management and the Assembly of Delegates. What MIGROS is doing here, with the help of TMI TRADE MARKET INTELLIGENCE (the name already shows the sarcasm and is not without a certain irony), was carried out according to the rules of the handbook for capitalists, but it is and remains a huge mess, because MIGROS is still a GENOSSENSCHAFT and not an AG, although a certain CEO, who wanted to celebrate his debut with a massive increase in his remuneration and the transformation into such a company (even then it was clear what would become of Migros; growth at ANY price).
Migros management and
Migros delegates SCHÄMT EUCH!!!!

Perhaps a boycott of Migros, especially of FREY products, will help, so let's give it a try and give vent to our displeasure at this impossible "sub to sub to subcontractor" racket, which has unfortunately become "fashionable" in Switzerland too.

Ugh Migros really embarrassing and shameful I could puke over this approach.

So at this moment, one of Migros' senior executives should really take a stand here. If he has time for a 5-minute interview, then he will be able to write 2 minutes of text for Migros customers (that would be us). They won't be that busy to be able to spare 2 minutes. And no pre-printed answers, please.

and even if, if I understood the lady as a studio guest correctly, everything is legal, it is still not decent and not in my interests as a member of the cooperative. Fairness and honesty towards the smallest employees should be more important to Migros than maximizing profits.

So this talk of Dutti would turn over in his grave blabla is simply not correct.
Dutti lived and traded at a time when discount stores, online shopping etc. were as far away as Switzerland is from the sea. VERY FAR AWAY!

Secondly: Migros employs 108,000 people. Now that some are not happy, there will always be some.
What is wrong here that Migros is outsourcing these jobs? Every company (whether a cooperative or a public limited company) must review its cost structure at all times. Otherwise you will end up like Germania....

@EEnergy: Dutti was a socially minded person. And treating his employees decently should be a matter of course, even in this day and age! It is reprehensible to make de facto redundancies, even if they are de jure okay. It is easiest to make savings on the little ones because they usually (cannot) defend themselves. That's not decent. Germania probably had other problems...

Here's some more "drivel"!
Before you carelessly shoot your "drivel" out into the net without at least putting your first name behind it (I personally usually call evaluations or expressions of opinion on my posts reactions or comments), you should think about whether Migros is right to adorn itself with the statement that it thinks and acts in the good old Gottlieb Duttweiler tradition, or whether the management should simply shut up in this respect if it is obviously no longer true to mention G. Duttweiler only as the founder!
And by the way; at Migros, not only the promoters now employed by IMP are "dissatisfied" (what a poor choice of words to describe the current feeling of people with emerging existential fears), but also the rest of the workforce, e.g. at Limmatplatz, has not been happy for a long time in terms of personnel policy. Jobs are being cut in order to achieve short-term savings targets and collect the bonuses paid for them, only for the missing staff to have to be replaced three times over with temporary staff three quarters of a year later, because these managers, whom you apparently hold in such high esteem, completely overlooked how much work is actually involved! Migros must return to its old values and offer goods, especially food, in decent, fair quality again. Meh lifere instead of laffere.

So now I've seen the article too. It really can't be that you HAVE to sign something and if you don't do it you HAVE to leave. The days that have obviously not only been cut in number, but also in pay. Will Migros stores now be like the Denner distribution center? Only Themporär ? When you really get to that point, even the temporary office will no longer place workers because they know the working conditions. It's already like that with Denner distributors, how long will it be before Migros branches are ready?

Once again, Kassensturz clearly illustrates how long-standing and deserving employees are treated. In order to cut the jobs of the promoters and avoid a social plan, a company called Trade Marketing Intelligence, which in addition to marketing also operates in the area of sarning and recession measures, is brought into being as a partner in order to get rid of the superfluous employees in the future. In addition, the people concerned are already cheated during the transfer as they first have to sign a form for a contract which only reaches them afterwards. The statement that wages will remain the same and then be cut and the fact that the managing director of TMI does not face critical questions is also an admission of a rotten story. Result, 5 Migros customers less.

Please dear Mirgos, change these conditions!
I find what you are doing here with the promoters and other employees sad. Because at the same time you want to do something for the generations and on the other hand you let the older employees fall like this is commonplace. I'm a true Migros-child, I don't really want to change, but I can't stand behind something like this either, I have other alternatives if I have to :-( . findi schaade
