What Kassensturz is reporting about Migros and TMI is sad as hell.
Dutti would be turning in his grave. As a Migros co-owner, I cannot accept such a thing.
I expect TMI to be liquidated and the promoters to be re-employed by Migros and over-compensated for their losses!
I can only agree with that!!!
I mainly shop at Migros because I was convinced by Dutti's spirit and attitude. But now my Migros seems to be creeping away in the direction of big business. I might as well shop at Aldi and Lidl. What a shame, hopefully they'll come to their senses.
I am shocked, but not particularly surprised, that "my" Migros is massively cutting the wages of its weakest employees by outsourcing what are probably the lowest-paid staff anyway, like some cheap clique. This is a disgrace for the "social" Migros - and also very bad PR. Those responsible are obviously ashamed of themselves, because they don't even face up to public criticism.
As a 74-year-old "Migros child", do I really have to live out my old age without Migros because it behaves so anti-socially? Well, the Coop is a kilometer and a half further away, but the few thousand extra steps are healthy for us old people. Aldi would also be within easy reach.
From my point of view, the old adage is once again confirmed: it takes a company years, if not decades, to build up a good image. To destroy a good image, on the other hand, it only takes days, if not hours.
An unparalleled scandal, but one which confirms that those responsible at Mgros don't give a damn about staff and customers, but are only interested in making a profit. Their own pockets have to be filled first.
PS: I was also annoyed by the gentleman in the video who, when asked by the promoter "What kind can I give you?", simply rummages around in the chocolate himself with his stylus.

I didn't see Kassensturtz yesterday, it's on my to-do list every week on Wednesday evening.
But I did see it last week, which was also a bit of a bummer.

Gottlieb Duttweiler and his wife Adele have always been role models for a social market economy in the true sense of the word. Migros has therefore always been "Our Migros". It no longer is, since we saw and heard in Kassensturz how you treat your (our - as long as it was "Our Migros") employees. We will adjust our shopping behavior. Coop, Lidl, Aldi and others will benefit from your behavior, which degrades employees and is dishonorable for Migros.

Why does Migros have to set up such a TMI? Is it to reduce the collective labor agreements and thus the social benefits? I don't see any other reason.
