Sali spinni20014, I think it's good that you're so committed to the issue. But do you know that, from a purely ecological point of view, it doesn't make sense to do without packaging altogether? Packaging provides the best possible protection for products during transportation and against spoilage. The packaging of a food product only contributes a very small part to the environmental impact of the entire product - usually less than 4 percent. If we consider the entire life cycle of a product, namely cultivation, processing, transportation, storage, packaging and disposal, cultivation and production have the greatest impact on the environment. Food that is spoiled and thrown away due to a lack of packaging is many times more harmful to the environment than its packaging.

Consumes the least electricity
Makes the least CO2
That's really "drilled into us"
