Why don't you give those responsible a bit of time before you take a sledgehammer to everything? It's the weekend (troll and spam time ahoy)...

@rbde565 You are obviously confusing something and wrongly judging me: The question was asked 2 years ago and has not yet received an answer. That's why I put the link to the question in question here, so that the admins can see it and answer the question.
Well meant, but questions about products are handled by M-Infoline and not by Migipedia, so the question goes directly to Info! Furthermore, this thread is orphaned because the creator and his later appearances were blocked. Is "migimio" still interested in potatoes or mashed potatoes? I don't know: because he was only online for 45 minutes on 26.07.2015!

Hello Tanja,
until years ago I ate the Citro - Farmer, until I read that it contains palm fat. Now I don't eat it because I am very sensitized and read the ingredients on every product. Is it true that the Engadine nut cake also contains palm fat? It shouldn't, otherwise Jowa would no longer be allowed to claim that it produces according to the original recipe. - It's good that Migros offers butter cake and puff pastry. Thank you for your information.
Thank you for your question. We use vegetable margarine, which contains palm oil as well as rapeseed oil, to make the Engadine nut cake. All our nut tarts are made with margarine. Due to its specific properties in terms of sensory properties, functionality and consistency, palm oil is particularly suitable for the production of food and cannot be easily replaced by other edible oils. The heat and oxidation stability of palm oil is necessary for many food production processes. However, it is still an Engadine nut cake, as otherwise the same recipe and ingredients are used. Kind regards, Andrea
