Not only the receipt is superfluous...

Nicht nur der Kassenzettel ist überflüssig...

Hello everyone, as I've happily seen here in the forum, it's not just me who is annoyed that I can't choose whether I want a receipt or not. And I have also read that Mirgos is aware of this annoying problem.
Basically, it can't be difficult to introduce a function (LIDL can do it) to give the customer the choice to take a receipt or not. Well, apparently it's not on the priority list because it doesn't bring any added value for the company and only benefits the customer.
What bothers me even more, however, are these ridiculous e.g. 20-fold Cumulus points receipts that are only valid for one product. I have never redeemed such a voucher, as I never buy these products anyway, or if I do buy such a product, the voucher has already expired or cannot be found. It should be possible to deactivate these vouchers. Because in the end, after buying a bread roll from the self-check machine, I end up with two unnecessary slips of paper, which I throw straight in the bin after printing them out.

Greetings Jan

This example shows once again that Migros only talks a lot about ecological behavior, Coop doesn't talk about it, it just does it. I can even set whether I want receipts or not separately for the specialist stores.
The most annoying thing about Migros is that printed receipts usually end up in the bin at the checkout, as you can only redeem either the printed or the digital one. A huge, pointless waste of paper. At Coop you have 2 vouchers in such cases, the digital and the printed one can be redeemed.

Dear Migipedia community and community team, I am also in favor of the idea of being able to set in the app whether you want a receipt and whether 20× or 40× Cumulus, as paper for non-smartphone owners, or in the app for all those who have an app.

If Cumulus owners don't have the app, they can't set that they no longer want one and get the paper. A compromise for both sides, so everyone is happy.

Or how do the Migipedia community and community team see it?

Not everything is an app these days. You can (thankfully) also manage your Cumulus account on your PC in your online account. So even those who don't have the Migros app can make these settings there.

Yes, then I expressed myself incorrectly and meant those people without digital access, but you know what I mean. At least 2 neighbors and 1 mother and 1 colleague don't have digital access so they should get paper.

Or not? Everyone would be happy?

I agree with you!

Everyone should be able to set it themselves. I would also welcome it if you could set the Subito, e.g. at the end whether you want the receipt to be printed out or not. The same would also apply to the cash registers

I am convinced that if Migros really wanted to, it could be realized within a week that you receive a receipt at the end of the self-scanning payment process at the touch of a screen on the correct selection field or not!

You can do the same with ATMs - it just occurred to me

Hi everyone!

You are right, we are aware of the issue and it is a project that is currently being worked on. This means that it will be possible to choose whether the receipts and bonus coupons should be printed or not. I don't yet know whether this will be set via the app or online or whether you will simply have to select it on the display. I also can't say at the moment when it will be implemented. But they are working on it and I also hope that it won't be too long before it is implemented.

We'll be sure to let you know as soon as it's ready. :)

Best regards

What kind of development?
We got this far months ago, just in an older thread.

Yes that's right @AlMiDeCoLi and because it had been a while since we last heard anything about it, I followed up last week. And found out that there is now actually a project underway. Previously it was something that hadn't been actively tackled, but now they are actually working on it. I know we're later than others, and the topic has been an issue for a long time - and increasingly so - and I can't and don't want to gloss over the fact that something could have been done before... But I'm pleased that it's finally being tackled. I've also reassured myself that it really will happen ;)

Best regards, Nina
